Lol if Congress comes to power we will definitely get F-35, and it will be a scandal similar to but 1000x worse than the time where they signed all sorts of BS end-use conditions by the Amerisharts to procure the INS Jalashwa.

We can avoid CAATSA because it's an older deal. We haven't officially exited the FGFA programme. But America will create supply chain issue for Tejas and AMCA project in retaliation. And might try to target our companies like Adani or Tata with some random case.

If they can't then hire a consultancy

Admirals did the same for INS Vikrant in earliest stages of development

ADA had Dassault as the tech consultant at the start, it is no cohencidence that Tejas has a tailless delta wing design

Turkans for their Kaane fighter jet hired BAE of UK as their consultant

Sooth Koreans for their KF-21 Boramae have hired Lockheed Martin( ofc this won't happen with us lol )

India is incapable of making a TF that comes anywhere near the technology of Amerishart/Britshit engines.

Perhaps in 20-30 years if it pumps vast amounts of money into the project. In 20-30 years US + UK will have moved forward 20-30 years. Remember that when India has its own Indiashit engine for AMCA around 2045-2055 (if starts spending billions of USD a year equivalent from today).
