The one thing i do like about the chinese model of rulership over the modern democratic one, is that the Chinese have stuck to their ancient pathway of requring 'some sort of qualification' to run a country. In the past, it was the beurocracy class, who had to pass beuroracy exams to be deemed worthy to govern. In the modern times, its effectively the same but under communist umbrella.
I've always wondered why people who believe in democracy are so disregarding of the idea that you need to have some qualification basis for running a country, which is a type of a job, when they want qualified people for virtually ALL other jobs.

BNP boycott elections.. and even normal opposition political assembly was not allowed.. Add almost 10 percent Inflation and spiraling Extenal debt.. I guess India was aware of Sheikh Hasina's precarious position, and I hope INDIA was in touch with the Bangladesh Army..

Students who began this movement to change job reservations, though innocently leading a movement became manipulated by Jihadists, ISI people working on instructions from Pakistan to oust the decently run government. It is Hasina who turned around the economy around from a basket sinking state to a major clothing export country with per capita GDP matching that of India. She deserve full credit for it.
