Highly doubt this piece of news. For starters the US is said to have engineered the coup allegedly coz the AL government developed a submarine base with Chinese assistance in Chattogram among other reasons & brought their puppet Younus to power with tacit army support.

And now we're supposed to believe that the very same US puppet is going against his masters in Washington seeking to build a Air Force base with Chinese assistance of all countries , right on the border with India , at a choke point where India's at its most vulnerable ?

I don't think either the US or India will take this lying down .

Bangladesh is a land lock country itself. They've to depend on India even if they don't want to. India can suffocate them from all sides.
India has heavy deployment throughout the North East. So Kanglu fantasy will never be possible.
It's a stupid dream for keyboard only.
If they can station 70 jets, I'm sure India will take 10x better measures to counter those beggars.
Bangladesh is too poor & deprived to station 70 jets even in the next 20 years.
What if we station a nuclear submarine in Indian ocean? Or station one of our aircraft carriers? Kanglus can only dream.
