These are the same 3 warships that were in Vishakhapatnam for EX INDRA some weeks back.

Wonder how Uncle Sam is okay with this if he is still puppeting the Chunus regime

A balkanised Myanmar doesn't serve our interests too. It could spur secessionist tendencies in the NE or worse it could act as a base to support secessionist movements there , this time with active encouragement in material & money from the Americans.

That's the reason we didn't encourage the AA or the Kachins there leave aside the Chins whose country cousins here in association with them are creating problems for us in Manipur , which in itself , is vindication of the soundness of GoI's policy for these groups.

This could also be the reason SHW openly accused the US of wanting to create a Christian state from lands carved out of Myanmar , BD & India which by the looks of it doesn't seem like a baseless accusation today as when it seemed when it was first made.

Moreover the involvement of the BD army in undermining the Tatmadaw isn't good news for India as well . Tomorrow this same entity could be deployed to undermine us in the NE & as we know the malaun lungis rarely need a second invitation when it comes to sabotaging us .

I don't envy the MEA , their dilemmas & options in Myanmar. It's a real minefield irrespective what you choose. The situation is far too fluid for anyone's liking with parties there double & triple crossing each other.

And to make matters worse , I can't think of a more dumb political player than the Tatmadaw . They're competing very closely with Fauji Foundation for the title of - how to completely screw up your own country aka how to cut the branch of the tree you're sitting on ?

It was very foolish of them to arrest Aung San Kyi and force her supporters and political buddies into a rebellion, thereby fracturing the Bamar.
Otherwise they would have easily bullied all the over 9000 oogah boogah secessionists in the N/NW of their country.

It's literally like Fauji Foundation, but Imrand's followers are little bitches :bplease:

The Burmese civil war is aimed to either chop off a portion of that country giving Sea -> China border link or to grab the whole country and install a puppet regime once again to ungli China.

It is also part of the reason they have been trying to overthrow Putya in Russia since 2012
