India ratified the biological weapons convention we also destroyed our chemical weapons in 2009. UPA era love. SoKO and albania are only other countries. rest all is speculation. I dont think we will see much evidence of it. that said, both bio and chemical warfare are well within our reach given our massive production capacity

Recently pakistan threatened us with chemical weapon attack what should be our course of action??

Indian nuclear policy considers no first use not just against nuclear but against any WMD, that includes Chemical. So Pakis won't risk attacking a major city with chemicals.

Of course, the Pakis, if they try, will try it at a tactical level, maybe targeting one military target with a small chemical attack. And we likely won't respond to this with a "massive nuclear retaliation." Instead we'll conduct a rethink of our policies.

BTW, Do we got a thread to discuss Biosafety? At the strategic level?
