Nato name - Flanker N
J16 is a 4.5 Generation multirole fighter jet. It is developed from j11, the licensed version of su 27.
It is equipped with Aesa radar and composite materials were used to reduce the weight.
ENGINE used - WS10A

The electronic warfare version of the fighter, named J-16D, was developed in 2010s.
