Pioneer Evelyn Berezin was born in New York in 1925 to Jewish immigrants from Russia. She designed the first true word-processing computer. She also developed the first automated airline reservation system. United Airlines put her invention into service in 1955

Who can believe that video games already have been around for 50 years? Ralph Baer, whose family fled Germany just before World War II, helped pave the way for the game systems we know today. The Jewish engineer began to investigate how to play games on a television in 1966. Then he and two colleagues created several test units. The result was the Brown Box, a prototype for the first multiplayer, multiprogram video game system. Baer licensed it to Magnavox, which released the design as the Odyssey in 1972.

Remember life before smartphones and selfies? Baby Boomer Philippe Kahn does. He was born in Paris in 1952 to Jewish immigrants of modest means. His mother was a Holocaust survivor. The birth of his daughter in 1997 triggered the birth of a new technology. Kahn wanted to take a picture of the baby and send it to friends directly from the hospital. While in the waiting room, he succeeded! He fired up his computer, wrote some lines of codes, synchronized them with his Motorola mobile phone and digital camera and created the world’s first camera phone.

10. Google

Jewish-inventions-5-15-2022_htm_e674d6f5632f6392.jpg

Larry Page and Sergey Brin, now Silicon Valley billionaires, developed Google as computer science graduate students at Stanford University. Page envisioned a World Wide Web search engine that could rank hyperlinks based on how often other pages linked them. Brin helped turn the idea into PageRank, the algorithm foundation of Google Search. The product went live on Stanford’s network in 1996.

Jewish minds have created many more inventions that touch our lives, from cherry tomatoes to the remote control. But that’s another story.

Genetic Engineering: A Scientific Revolution

In 1972, Jewish American scientist Paul Berg made a groundbreaking discovery by creating the first recombinant DNA molecules, laying the foundation for modern genetic engineering. This scientific advancement has revolutionized various fields, from agriculture to medicine. While genetic engineering has faced controversy due to concerns about the impact of genetically modified foods, it has also shown promise in cancer treatment, mass production of insulin, and developing disease-resistant crops. Berg’s work continues to shape the future of science and technology.

China calls out Trump over 104% tariffs 'Mistake on mistake'

President Trump's reciprocal tariffs on several countries are now in effect, that includes a massive 104% tariff on China. This morning China is responding, calling the new tariffs a 'mistake on top of a mistake.' China also calling out the United State's 'blackmailing nature.' Joining LiveNOW to help further the conversation is Rajiv Sawhney, Head of the International Portfolio managemen

Trump’s 104% tariffs on China and MAGA backlash

To say that American president Donald Trump’s global tariffs have sparked chaos around the world is an understatement. One analyst called the result, “a self-induced economic nuclear winter”. And that was before the tit-for-tat trade war between the United States and China escalated today with Trump imposing an additional tariff on China, taking the total to 104 per cent.Today, international and political editor, Peter Hartcher, on where this trade war with China could lead. And the mini-rebellion among Republicans to Trump’s tariffs.

Security researchers have uncovered a pre-installed, undocumented remote access tunnel in 🇨🇳 Unitree Go1 robot dogs.

Each Unitree Go1 robot dog is shipped with a preconfigured tunnel client that initiates a connection to 🇨🇳 CloudSail — a remote access platform developed by 🇨🇳 Zhexi Technology, based in China.

“Anybody with access to the API key can freely access all robot dogs on the tunnel network, remotely control them, use the vision cameras to see through their eyes, or even hop on the RPI via SSH.”

“Most of the machines are located in China, but as expected some are outside of China, apart from some residential IPs, we were able to identify several University IPs and some corporate networks from around the world.”

More than a dozen universities from the US, Canada, Germany, New Zealand, Australia, and Japan have experimented with Unitree Go1 robot dogs:

USA: MIT, Princeton University, University of Massachusetts Amherst, Carnegie Mellon University
Canada: University of Waterloo
Germany: Hochschule Coburg
New Zealand: University of Otago
Australia: UNSW Sydney, Deakin University
Japan: Shinshu University

The discovery raises serious concerns about supply chain trust, especially as these robots are widely used in academic, corporate, and even defense-related environments.

Nah. India is quite popular on Chinese social media. This is what I found on Chinese weibo a moment ago.

Carrots and sticks from Trump.

He clearly warned countries NOT to have retaliatory tariffs on US.
Now the warning is followed up with action.

Countries that were willing for talks get a break and countries that acted up are getting shafted,
eventually even EU and Canada will come to the table.

For Xi, it is a catch 22. He can never seem to be bending to Trump. He thinks all them bonds flooding the market would get Trump to bend. He forgets Trump can remove Chinese stocks from US markets.

If Xi thinks this is the worst, he has another thing coming.
Xi forgets that most countries that trade with China, like India, Australia, EU and Canada want to be on good side of US. These countries don't even have decent relations with China.
If Trump offers these countries a deal where they have to throw China under the bus, all of them will do it, without blinking.

China is continuing to seek adequate responses as it remains the target of massive US trade tariffs despite US President Donald Trump's turnaround decision on Wednesday to pause the hefty levies he had just imposed on dozens of other countries. Trump has raised the tariff on Chinese imports to the US to 125%, up from the 104% levy that went into force on Wednesday. Beijing, in its turn, may well once more up the 84% tariffs it applied to US imports on Wednesday in retaliation to Trump's initial move. It has vowed to "fight to the end" in the trade war that is rapidly escalating between the world's two top economies. China says it has held talks with the European Union and Malaysia on enhancing trade ties in response to the friction with the US. It also said it had filed a protest with the World Trade Organization (WTO), complaining of "bullying" tactics by the Trump administration.Trump, who says he raised the tariffs on Chinese imports in response to China's "lack of respect" for global markets, has insisted that a trade agreement will be reached with Beijing. "A deal's going to be made with China," Trump said, while adding that China's leaders "don't quite know how to go about it." China is the second biggest provider of imports to the US after Mexico.China has called on the United States on Thursday to meet it "halfway" as a trade war between the world's two top economies gains momentum, but promised to "fight to the end" if no compromise can be reached. "The door to dialogue is open, but it must be based on mutual respect and conducted in an equal manner," Commerce Ministry spokeswoman He Yongqian told a regular press briefing. The use of pressure, threats and blackmail was not the right way to deal with China, He said. She warned that US tariffs on international trading partners would "severely impact the stability of the global economic order." China would continue to resolutely safeguard its sovereignty, security and development interests, she said. China's Foreign Ministry also warned that the US tariffs were harmful to the whole world. The tariffs "seriously damage the rules-based multilateral trading system, and seriously impact the stability of the global economic order," Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said. "This is a blatant act that goes against the will of the world and goes against the whole world," he added.

Great news. Trump administration believes PRC would kowtow to USA like Vietnam, India etc. Stay tuned.
China already kowtowed to US empire when its CCP masters decided to castrate its men and women, killed second offsprings of them in 1980s so that western money could flow in.

Both China and India have found their own paths

The path that India chooses is a dead end. The reason is simple. India don't create enough jobs. ~70% of Indians are living in rural area. Indians especially Indian youth don't hate urban life. They just can't find jobs in urban area. Yeah. PRC has the same job problem but totally different level. There is not enough industry to support these people of rural background. Son of India's richest man yeah that fat guy equivalent to Kim Jun un's weight had the most luxurious wedding in th world. Even Modi attended it. This is not gonna happen in PRC. Ultra rich people in PRC are always in fear of CCP's iron fist. However, 99% of ordinary Indians have no consumption capability. To them, consumption is just food and basic necessities. Even basic living necessitiy for the majority rural population are scarce let alone public service due to lack of industry. Everything is imported and expensive for them. Indian currency Rupee constantly in free fall mode. Make in India wants to change this situation. However, Vietnam, Indonesia, Mexico etc are more plausible destination for those factories moving out of PRC. Hinduism is the spiritual hindrance. It's not the fault of religion. It's the division of Indian common value. PRC doesn't have this kind of shit. 99% of Han Chinese are practically atheists. Other religious Chinese Christians,Muslims,Catholic in PRC praise and worship CCP. Young Indian youths hate religious stuff compared to older generation. They believe it's outdated and useless. Hindu fanatics and Islamic extremists fight over if beef is allowed. This is just a joke of course. What I mean is India's policies are lagging behind its young population.

Lmao. Chinese TFI is in freefall. Slower and sustainable growth is better long term. All of East Asia will collapse demographically next 20-30 years. No matter how much tax revenue a citizen pays, 80% will go to taking care of older generation.

China’s 2020 national census indicated that China has nearly 200 million people 65 years or older, accounting for nearly 14% of the country’s total population. China’s senior care market is predicted to reach $800 billion by 2025, and the figure is expected to exceed $3 trillion by 2030.

China follows a ’90-7-3’ senior care model (90% at home, 7% in intermediate facilities, and 3% in nursing homes). This approach is driving demand for both professional nursing and rehabilitation services and smart products and solutions.

On October 20, 2021, the Government of China published its five-year Development Action Plan for the Smart Elder Care Industry (2021-2025), which identifies the smart products and services particularly needed for elderly care, including but not limited to:

• Wearable devices and self-service health testing equipment for testing blood pressure, blood oxygen, body density, heart health (ECG), and similar testing and monitoring devices.
• Rehab training equipment such as exoskeleton robots and rehab training assessment devices.
• Smart care products such as handling robots, smart nursing beds, smart mattresses, bed exit alarms, and sleep monitors.
• Telemedicine solutions
• Health management solutions, integrated preventive health care, chronic disease management, emergency relief, rehab training/guidance, and similar services.

Calm down. I'm not predicting anything and you don't have to. The dead end phrase is just an expression for you to take notice of. I'm simply summing up what already happened. As I said, India's path is not about demography. It's about jobs. No industry, no jobs.

“99% of Han Chinese are practically atheists.”

This is actually a misconception. The world is not black and white.

Even definitions of "atheism" vary.

The beliefs of the Han people are also diverse

That is a lie. Ancestor worshipping is not a religion. Fengshui is not religion. Traditional holiday customs is not religion. Chinese temples are either profit oriented commercialized companies or political showcases of CCP. They're not real monks even if they claim they're real. There's no authentic religious beliefs in their brains at all.
