Chinese Economy Watch

I appreciate the pictures, but personal experiences are not general experiences.

I said to you in the past globalization has democratized technology, however globalization also democratized poverty.

The Americans are complaining Chinese and Mexican stole their jobs.

In the case of China you have a very different relation with the USA

He was one of my uncles who fought in WWII in the US navy, also in the Korean war, I have only from my mother`s side 60% of my family in the USA almost 99% are already USA citizens, so globalization for Mexicans mean economic and social.

The reality is all nations to reduce poverty need jobs and well paid jobs, tariffs are the result of some economic groups who want to control the world economy without considering people need jobs,

the world is far more complex than for all of us fix in this forum, but to exemplify for ever dollar that Mexican companies make from China, Chinese companies make USD $11, so tariffs are the result.

I can not hide the Mexican economy has problems due to tariffs, but China has more because Mexico as well as China are highly dependent in exports of manufactured goods.

For Mexicans globalization means north America, not Asia is our main neighborhood, for China it is most of the so called yellow race peoples including Japan.

China is not level of Mexico as middle size nation, And we have our own huge domestic market, and will soon take over the US by size. Ur experiences don't apply to China. And China prepared the tariff war for yrs.

is not about competition Rockdog

The history is far more complex, i just going to tell you this we are going for a world government centered in Jerusalem, you will not understand, the evidence is there, there are two sides one lead by Israel and another by Iran.

Russia and India will switch sides, they will end in the Israeli side.

At the end they will impose a world order, the USA is just a guard dog

How America Ended Up Dependent on China

Surprisingly—or perhaps not—America has only itself to blame for its over-reliance on China. The groundwork was laid during the Reagan era, originally aimed at weakening the Soviet Union. Later presidents—Clinton, Bush, and Obama—accelerated the trend by encouraging the outsourcing of America’s industrial base. In their rush to undermine Russia, they overlooked the long-term cost: the hollowing out of U.S. manufacturing. Europe and other nations followed suit.

From the mid-1990s, China seized this opportunity. With U.S. encouragement, it built an export-driven economy. American companies, lured by cheap labor, subsidized inputs & infrastructure, and a deliberately undervalued yuan, flocked to China. In chasing low costs, they abandoned a fundamental supply chain principle: diversification. Usually two or three suppliers are kept on hand if there is a breakdown in one or the other. America forgot that time tested principle and went straight into the lure of cheap everything which blinded them.
By 2015, China had become the go-to supplier for everything—from basic components to complex machinery. American firms stopped looking elsewhere. China wasn’t just a supplier; it became the only supplier. Even when product quality lagged, the low prices’ made it easy to overlook. Now America allowed China to become the only supplier of Germanium and other Rare Elements which are urgently needed for defence purposes. Now China controls that supply and is ready to jeopardize American security.

This one-sided relationship gave China a firm grip on the U.S. supply chain—while buying little in return. The resulting trade imbalance eventually led to the sweeping tariffs of 2025. Like it or not, restoring manufacturing and rebalancing trade is now essential. It won’t be quick—it may take 5 to 10 years—but it’s necessary.
