Chinese Economy Watch

If that they case we Mexican are building Leap engines and they are ours since they are being built and ensambled in Mexico.

Of course not they are not Mexican so are those cars, Chinese brands are not top makers do not dream.

Stop drinking crapola, in buses Mexico makes a lot of trucks and cars mostly american brands, in cars mostly american and Japanese, and the Mexican consumer recently buys a lot of chevrolets, MG is the only Chinese brand that sells, the rest they do not sell well

very good progress

The ten companies that sold the most cars — manufactured in Mexico and imported, between January and July 2024 —, according to information collected by Inegi, are the following:

COMPANY UNITS
Nissan 142,722
General Motors 116,838
Volkswagen 74,990
Toyota 69,147

KIA 59,828
Mazda 52,768
Stellantis 52,063
Ford 30,403

Hyundai 29,384
MG Motor 29,152
As for models, these are the most popular, according to figures collected between January and August 2024:

You are smoking too much, most car sold in Mexico are Japanese brands by Brand alone Chinese do not sell except MG with a very Small % if Nissan bring cars from China does not make them Chinese, then Leap engines are Mexican but they are not.

You can post 100 times the same lie, but importing cars from China does not make the brand Chinese, Chinese brands still do not compete with Japanese or american Brands

Good progress, even for US brands.

China Conquers Mexico’s Automotive Market, and the US Is Worried

If US is worried, then China and US united to harvest in Mexico, it has very weak R&D capabilties anyway. Such as:

The New Dodge Attitude Is Actually a Chinese Car

...

The Attitude isn't the only Chinese Dodge sold in Mexico as the local-market Journey is basically a second-generation Trumpchi GS5.

...

The Dodge Journey, a beloved family crossover from 2009 to 2020, has transitioned into the Mexican market as a Chinese-produced product. Despite this shift, the second-generation Journey remains a success and an integral part of the Dodge lineup in Mexico.

Pure propaganda and by the way cheap one.

As the Video I posted shows, the Mexican government has already talked to American and Canadians diplomats to increase the amount of goods made in Mexico and replace imports from China and India is doing the same and Europe the same, get it.

Ford also designs cars in Mexico, so what? those cars are made by Ford and owned by ford nothing special; same Volkswagen.

Seems you do not learn, globalization is like that, however China has a policy of dumping over capacity and price cuts that is rejected by other economies thus they set tariffs.

since China still is a corrupt and poor economy like Mexico in many ways, you have low internal consumption, this translate is the desire to export to save the very highly subsidized low profit Chinese government owned companies that have overcapacity.

But this creates a reaction since China wants to export but not buy and it is competing with companies from other countries.

So what is happening? simple closing doors to Chinese products because unfair competition .

U r jobless for a long time, they are western and Mexican media

Chinese cars mean Chinese cars made by foreign and Chinese companies but the cars most sold in mexico are by Japanese brands or American brands, the cars were made in China by Japanese or american brands your assessment is so bad that is that is the case all the freighliner trucks are mexican and not Americans since they are build in mexico,

1732346550354.webp
Truck makers and parts manufacturers with assembly plants and factories in Mexico include Freightliner, Kenworth, Navistar, Hino, International, DINA, MAN SE, Mercedes-Benz, Isuzu, Scania, Cummins and Detroit Diesel.

Exports of Mexican-made trucks to the U.S. in 2022 totaled 157,522, an 18% y/y increase from 2021. Exports to Canada for the year were 3,995 vehicles, a 19% y/y increase, and exports to Colombia were 2,856 units, a 25% y/y increase.

Freightliner was the top truck producer and exporter in Mexico for the year. The company built 114,951 trucks, a 16% y/y increase, and exported 103,578, a 14% y/y jump.
so yes Kenworth is Mexican same Hino:confusedd:but the reality is only DINA is Mexican so most trucks exported by Mexico are by foreign brands despite DINA also exports trucks

In addition, she assured that they will be working on building the tracks, so they are in the process of putting the project out to tender

We do but Mexico is a capitalist country, we have the technology to build cars and we build them

The Mexican manufacturers are developing electric cars and we build trucks.

I guess you think China made great but technology is 2024 can spread easily Internet, Telephone airplanes makes technology spreading quickly

Mexicans don't like local brands?
Mexico has the technology to make several common technologies however prices might be higher due to wrong policies or financial constrains.

He have been building cars of airplanes for over a century, however building a big successful company requires financial health and right approaches.

In Latin America only Brazil has achieved that goal with Embraer or Marcopolo.
In Mexico several companies exist, with some success but also failures.

The technology is not the problem, but the financial success, thus to answer your question Mexicans buy the best product for the least price, but thanks to 2019 covid panthemic and the Free trade agreement; we will localize more production in Mexico and that means we will try to buy less from China and since you do not buy from us the USA, Canada and Mexico will limit your products you like it or not

They hardly make any hi tech product independently. Because Mexico is not a truly industrialized nation. It's can be thought as banana republic of US capital. They would produce profitable products to US's Japan's even Chinese brands, but they won't allow they have competitive brand.
