Chit Chat

Again, irrelevant. It's very easy to find this if you go looking for it. Whereas in India, you do not need to go looking for trash. You can take a train, a bus, open your eyes and your nostrils as soon as you leave the airport. Engage in good faith or do not engage in a discussion. You are the reason why we are not respected for intellect.

You don't need to spam with carefully curated irrelevant pictures from small parts of large cities. This is a complete waste of time. Indians will never understand and will only ever engage in "What about amerikkka!!!!"

This discussion didn't start about America. It was about India. And if you again, feel so strongly, why not leave America and return to India? Leave dude.

Edit: Lol the above NY Subway guy is a standup comedian from Amsterdam NY. Hahaha. So stupid. You are engaging in bad faith.

Edit 2: Go back to India dude.

Okay I'll just say this for the last time since you are a timewaster:

1. Go back to India. Leave the US if it's too dirty for you and India is super clean
2. None of these are relevant to anything I've brought up. I think you are having a hard time understanding this point. See 1.
3. "nickel and dime" lol. Have you ever been to Uttarakhand?
4. I have not even brought up the more racial elements that I heard from foreign travelers.
5. If you cannot handle legitimate criticisms, then you truly are hopeless.

I’m from Hyderabad. Live in a pretty posh place with a nice metro and wide highways.

But you live in the USA now correct? And you come from a wealthy place? You should instead spend some time outside of your "posh place with a nice metro and wide highways" to see what India really is like. I am from a "posh place" in UP but guess what, I spent time in the villages and countryside. It's not this dreamy vision you have. The only positive I can say is I didn't see any missionaries. That is seriously a saving grace, but given the filth, squalor, and poverty, surprising. These are genuine criticisms. It's disappointing that you are unable to bring up any relevant points.

Edit: I've said this before and I'll say it again. Infrastructure is more than just "nice metro" and "wide highways".

It's not relevant to this discussion. I don't care where you are from or where you live. My point is India is dirty and Indians seem to take pride in how dirty India is. This is based on my observations over 30 days last month.

My family has homes in India and the US. We travel back and forth based on the season. I have a subsidiary based in India. I grew up in India until 9 years old. I had similar views like you when I was a child who experienced power cuts, bad infra. I don’t need a lecture about India being unclean. It’s just that living in the west, I have realized how unclean, unsafe and hypocritical it is of the west to critique India. I won’t entertain that anymore.
