BSNL is still stuck with 3G and call quality is very poor.

4G is in testing phase in MP. I'm getting decent 4G speed but towers are sparce and causing packet loss and high ping. Hopefully by 2025 signal will improve. They will get plenty of customers considering their pricing is nearly half of the competition.

My father uses BSNL. It's still 3G in Kolkata and Mumbai atleast. Hopefully, they'll launch 4G fast.

BSNL is needed to cater poor people. Here we have some states like UP purvanchal and Bihar where GDP per capita is as low as 50-60k per annum and these telecom companies have cheapest plan of 10 per day (3500rs / year).

Dude my experience with bsnl is phenomenal the improvement is great. Yes initial hassle was there but it's working like airtel
Although it depends on where you live in live in Maharashtra a kind of tier 2ish place.
It is worth the hassle
Also I always wanted a secondary sim so chose bsnl.

Buddy for 299 jio babua gives 1.5gb for 28 days

Bsnl gives 30days 2gb for 199
Also there's 40days for 198,
45 days 2gb for 249
105days for 666.
This packages are super worthy & will attract shitloads of customer
When I went in bsnl office the crowd was there they said it more people are coming this days.

Once there all new towers are operational bsnl will be at par with airtel.
If BSNL is good in your city get one if u dont travel much. I brought coz needed a sec sim also some contribution , support for bsnl.

I think u dont use bsnl it has improved alot I'm getting good 4g. Got 3g in basement only that too is descent.
4g is not as good as jio. But that short second of delay doesn't matter much.
