Good move. Ghee is a body requirement for endurance and strength training when taken in adequate quantity.
But in our country it's being consumed like water. Our dietary habits is so much screwed.
Consuming protein is still considered a sin. People have 0 understanding of nutrition in India.
People who make such reels should be paraded.
Fats are for aerobic exercises at vo2 max 60-70% in zone 1 and 2 specifically for endurance and strength.
Carbohydrates are needed for anaerobic exercises at vo2 max(80-120%) in zone 4-5 for high intensity training which last for 20 seconds max.
Proteins for the muscles repairment and recovery.
I think you are from Haryana....

I believe vegetarian diet with enough Milk and Milk products is enough for protein requirements, it is not necessary to consume non veg. Your thoughts...

Protein is overhyped to death its very important but it isnt like protein is all

Also there is 12-18% gst on it too (sadly)

For example a man is 80 kg in body weight and requires 0.8-1 gm/kg of protein/body weight that means he require 64-80 gm of protein daily

Now lets start with bare bone basics of indian diet thats milk 2 full glass of milk (600ml) contain 36 gm of protein (6gm@100ml)
With 250 calories daily requirement of males is 2000 /day

All i meant is getting protein is easy job but its overhyped by marketing bias

Yes, normal individuals should consume 0.8 gm of protein per kg of body weight. For athletes, the recommended intake is between 1.2 to 2.0 gm per kg of body weight.

Relying solely on milk for protein is insufficient. Additionally, the notion that a vegetarian diet cannot provide adequate protein is a myth.

My diet plan includes 200 gm of roasted channa with 2 bananas and 200 ml of milk in the morning, 200 gm of paneer with 50 gm of soya and rice in the afternoon, and 100 gm of moong dal with 3 chapatis and 2 tablespoons of ghee in the evening.

After accounting for protein absorption and bioavailability, it's approximately 110-120 gm. This regimen is sufficient to meet the protein and fat requirements for most individuals.

Yea i too wrote for normal individuals you can still take protein naturally till 120-130 gm after that it becomes a lil hard to do thats where protein supplements come in
As with steroids, proteins and all they dont make you strong if you dont do enough to digest them they gonna eat up your body

Since you are working individual only thing i would suggest (in context of exercise) is take a 1 hour walk everyday (make it a habit)

Remove direct sugar from life like sugar sweets cola but you can take them once in a blue moon (gonna save you from diseases later too )

If you are eating non veg once a month or so then there is no problem (prefer mutton)

you can make idli (2) and sambhar a staple for one time (preferably morning) its very healthy

Drink 300-400 ml milk every day (easy if you divide it ,preferably dont take tea and coffee but it work may force you )

This is all im gonna suggest for a beginner cause it work is all of sitting and sitting after that you may not be in condition to have weight training (gym) a good weight training is to water the plants 2 times daily with bucket and mug [personally tested] (but you would need a garden too so its applicable according to your surrounding)

Apart from this drink a lot of water 3-4lt daily (downside is you would pee often)

Stay far far away from alcohol, cigarettes, etc

All this is related to you so you can skip or take according to your body type

Edit : this is a layman framework through which you can start it might seem very hard initially but no problem afte a week or so after this you may see changes

ps if you cant follow anything at least take a 1hr walk (medium pace)

Diet is very important but exercise plays a great role in getting to a mindset of being fit.

Do pushups 5 times a day 20-30 each rep.
you can easily do this in office as well.

Overweightness and pushups doesnt go together easily if he is 90-100kg plus with no gym background doing 5-10/set are very hard too
Cardio is much more important in middle ages 25-40 to maintain good heart conditions
Especially males we already have much more steroidal hormones than females
[dont start running/jogging if you are overweight your knees gonna take big damage]

diet should be the first priority 😀 eating healthy and achieving like 10k steps daily is good enough. just keep your heart working.

why can’t we have something like this in India to hold our organisations accountable?

View: https://www.youtube.com/live/lSyCtUscKHw?si=mGkxBdxf9mWUUkV_

they have a system of political appointees as bureaucrats over and above elected officials. in some counties even police chiefs and judges are elected by vote. because civilians with political leanings are handling top bureaucratic positions , there needs to be a legislative oversight to keep them in check.

in our case, we follow british system where there are a dedicated cadre of bureaucracy to handle executive affairs, and we have very few political appointments that too as advisors to govt like NSA, CEA.

but it is mostly political theatre, mostly virtue signalling to their base. both questions and answers are framed in such a manner.

we too have parliamentary committees to review the work of the govt, just that they are not televised. and ministers are made accountable in parliament.

Thanks for the suggestion. Went to Gym but stopped last 4 months. That is the reason for increase in weight. But will restart the process.

Very concise and excellent answer sir .
Touched all points from weberian style bureaucracy ( assumed ideal by him but unachievable in real world , still a merit based one like india is a step in right direction nontheless) to patronage bureaucracy ( USA is considered is its home turf ) which suffers from partisanship, lack of dedication to service , incompetency among other maladies.

There are estimates committee , public accounts committee and committee on public undertakings.( These are financial committees) In our country among many other parliamentary committees, which oversee whole gamut of issues related to administration and proper implementation of policies .
And as for civil servants , I have been taught that they can't be persecuted by any state government under whose auspices they discharged their duties , instead any disciplinary action on class A or 1 civil servants can only be initiated by the department of personnel and training, whose political head is the prime minister and administrative head is secretary (p) or personal secretary, who advises the minister's on any issue and looks after the functiong of the department.
He is equal to the Chief secretary of a state government, which is the highest ranking civil servant in a state government.
