They are. Police are doing lathi charge irrespective of gender,throwing tear gas,using water cannon.
Some protesters are throwing rocks and bricks in return.

What do you think will happen.
I feel like Mamta will defend her keep and let the protests subside eventually. No chance of resignation or president rule.
Peaceful protest does not warrant President rule.
BJP will wait for this anger to turn into electoral vote and will do lip service until than.

This should not be a question if your are busy and have priorities in life than these things should not bother you.

Put yourself to use against these things.
Buillding this forum was our way of doing this.

Put your self to some use.

Learn a new skill and use that to aid people who make a difference.
If nothing than contribute monetarily.

Are you a student? Or a working adult?
These kind of doomerism is common with youthias.

In the minority view on this but I do not like these student protests that makes govts fall, even if it's Mamta's.

It's not for protestors to decide who should be in power or not, it's the voters and Mamta was voted into power.

These are underhanded ways of getting someone out of power.
If this succeeds at state level, nothing stopping some group to do the same at central level.

I'll make a special case for Mamta. She definitely needs to go, one way or the other. I just wish it was the Hindu forces that forced her out, not the students.
