Need to stop the clown language, criticism can be done without the rabble we are used to.

That being said Hellfire did something unnecessary and petty. We had members from both side of coin some defending the military bureaucracy and some criticizing it. Picking up a few posts and highlights the same to public without acknowledging that counter points also exit is a sign of bias.

He must be also angry with ME that somedays back I named how inefficient they, the armed forces are in using India's precious resources.

Look, man, them have problem, they can join the DFB in their capacity and then can lay their counterpoints and points.
We will ask them and they can simply be like @Binayak95, no problem at all.

But, if they think that they can skewer indigenisation efforts under the name of GIVE RESPECT TO ARMED FORCES then I want to say respect is earned and that is through supporting as well as most of important of all inducting ATAGS, UGRAM, WHAPS, ASMI and others into forces and supporting their iterations.

I have already mentioned that he can be inconsistent.

I can promise there will be no knee-jerk reactions here. The forum must trust the moderators' experience of handling meltdowns and negative attention.

The point here is not on an individual but on the quality of the discourse.

If some member are consistently blackpilled and using this forum to vent out their anger every day then it will be difficult to defend them.

I can also establish this fact for everyone to understand that this forum is highly biased in the favour of Indian armed forces. I will suggest members not to test their luck with abuses and sweeping generalizations.

I hope the admins are not engaging too much with this bully. Opinions on this site run the gamut. There are many posts on this site criticizing the BJP, Modi, Amit shah, Congress, TMC, Rahul Gandhi, anti-western stuff and pretty much everything under the sun. Anyone can find some content on this site that is bound to offend someone.

Tomorrow he won't like some other post and hold you guys hostage. Just delete/moderate the posts with very vulgar language and tell this thin-skinned bully with his 3k followers to move on and know his aukaat.

Meanwhile we should continue to exercise our freedom of speech(with civil language) of course.

Even I agree that posts with crass such as "Army genrols with russian r##nds" kinda stuff is indeed not civilised by any means. Members think it is easy for us to track and delete content they post, but not all can be managed. Some bans need to be issued in future. I mean look at the china economy thread, warning after warning, deletions after deletions those clowns there return back to square one. Entire DRDO/Modernisation of infantry/IAF thread filled with crass language. I mean you guys forget you're on a public forum and whatever you post here is visible for all? There's one thing criticising the military the other is abusing the generals of the forces with presumptions and stereotypes.

You are missing one thing.

His request wasn't to delete troublesome posts or ban members. He was threatening to shut the forum down and take mods and admins to task. That's classic bully behavior. I don't think anyone had a problem with deleting posts or banning extremely abusive members.

He was upset with the kind of shitshow going on here, and tbf the posts weren't being deleted bcause, as I told, they weren't being reported and not everything could be monitored and deleted. So at least for him, it would appear as if the mods are okay with that type of vocabulary.

That's the job of moderators and you lot of have been doing a wonderful job & like you mentioned without a knee jerk reaction.

If posts that are mildly offensive to anyone in power, like PM, CM, HM, armed forces, SC judges etc etc are taken down, then there won't be any discourse.
When there is no discourse, members who are visiting would not develop strategies to counter these arguments else where, like with friends, colleagues etc.

Out and out abusive posts must be handled and are being handled properly here.

The worst thing about that guy are two fold, the first is the threats and the second is his assertion that he does not mind the content but the tone of the post.

It's a clear case of little bit of power going to his head, a classic bully.

If he has problems then come to forum counter or argue with the respective members but avoiding that and blatantly threatening the existence of the forum shows nothing except arrogance

In sf thread a stupid was trying to use slaughtered word for our sf i opposed it and few members supported him that we shouldn't be offended because recent sf ops aren't satisfactory and lack of mordenisation
Due to lack of modern gear they suddenly become pathetic

I'm not following this news much, I knew about the Uber thing and the Samosa caucus podcast just came this weekend.

I attended JD summit and ex servicemen themselves were condemning the Army for this lapse.
