Two thoughts:

1. 2011 India is different from the 2025 India. Substantially different. There has been tremendous progress on the problems you elicited. However, there are still issues that remain. The public hygiene issue has somewhat resolved. Washrooms are generally more available, although men have a preference still of urinating literally wherever they can. The disorganized wiring and stuff is not visible anymore. Stuff like that.

2. People will take this very personal, skirt around the issue, and just attack you for having this opinion.

I'm not salty for a difference of opinion . Never have been . I have disagreements all the time out here without being disagreeable. Multiple members will testify to it here.

Your problem is not only do you think you're a know it all , you've a very disrespectful way of treating people whom you engage or rather have disagreements with .

I quite clearly recall the first time we had a showdown was more due to the language you used than for the actual subject matter itself such that I had to resort to abusive language to get the point across following which you ceased your crass line of interaction only to revert to it a short while later.

I also recall you accusing me of lying & when I challenged you for evidence , you causally dismissed it with - chal na bc , picture bana raha hain.

If your folks didn't teach you basic etiquettes or you didn't choose to learn them it's not mine or anyone's responsibility to teach them to you which is the reason I chose to disengage coz I certainly am in no mood to get into unnecessary slanging matches online , at least not if I can help it .

But people like you are too thick to get it . You keep provoking till you get a disproportionate response.

Anyway the only reason I chose to respond is not because I wish to engage you but to set the record straight for those who may have read the exchanges wondering what the entire issue was all about without knowing the context.

Consider this my last response to you & don't bother responding or tagging me ever.

What "slang" language did use "first"?
Your comparison and points were "plain stupid" and I called that out, specially with which how much confidence you were stating those stupid points, and you yourself using shitty language against the side you were considering inferior, without providing any credible proof or piont on why it is inferior which it is not, you just raised questions and considered it as proof that you are right.
Your one of those types whose ego is too fragile to handle any sort of mocking but love to mock and degrade others, everyone in this forum sees what type of language you regularly use and then audacity to talk about etiquettes.

The world does work on complexities. Your lack of insights into how India works is quite clear. Up until 1980 for China and 1960 for Japan, they were equally poor and unclean. It was only in the 70’s for Japan and 80’s for China that they specifically targeted western markets and were able to grow rich quickly. Japan did this through 80 hour work weeks and China through whoring themselves as enemy to Soviet Union.

India traditionally followed non-aligned movement, this is why Indians are shown in a negative light. One common example of this negative light fallacy is calling India rape capital of the world. However on a per capita basis it is 25 times less likely you will be raped in India vs USA. So why does this narrative exist? It’s because western media does not want an independent India with Hindu identity. They want a subservient India with western identity.

When you use the western point of view to judge India, you simply feed their narrative. Most of the times these narratives utilize fissures to paint India in a bad light. What is happening world wide right now is a realignment on alliances and priorities. The west no longer cares about making India subservient but is rather focused on not being subservient to China. In this context, they will look past all of India’s differences and work with India as a counter balance to China. Your inferiority complex on how outsiders view India is part of a greater game, which you are failing to perceive or understand.
