I'm sorry for your loss. I've a few queries which I think most members here would be benefited from as well.Today one of my acquaintance expired suddenly. He was 46 yrs old, developed a heart condition after covid, so term insurance was rejected. His salary was around 10 Lac per yr, was regularly paying taxes, has two kids of around 10 yrs and 7 yrs , was staying in a rented house. His family does not know what to do. I was just wondering what will his family get for all the taxes he paid, in fact the hospital bill was paid by his company. Atleast the government should provide a term insurance to all taxpayers depending on the tax they pay.
It's high time government stats considering middle class, salaried ppl who pay taxes religiously as human beings.
If he had a term insurance before COVID , how can the insurance company reject his claim if the condition he developed was on account of COVID ? Moreover how was the discovery made ?
The reason I ask is it's not a rare occurrence nowadays to hear of guys as young as 23-24 suddenly drop dead of a massive heart attack. It's been so after COVID. It's not usual but not rare as well.
