This was our last conversation. As you can clearly see, it ended on a good note with no badmouthing from either sides. We are planning to meet each other in valentine's day and settle the issue . Regarding the username fiasco, I was mesmerized by the writing skills and knowledge of bharatiya sainik and decided to take inspiration from his name. I know it's unjustified and can feel the frustration of low IQ bharatiya sainik. However, how is copying Mao's PFP offensive? Isn't he supposed to be "ours"? Anyways I will log out of this forum permanently and join strategic front. Nice little entertainment for a month or so comes to an end.

Who says I want to interact with him ? It's he who keeps messaging me on DMs & it's he who's flame baiting in case you haven't noticed. Frankly I've yet to come across a forum where they permit two members the same user handle or profile picture.

If this isn't provocation I don't know what is & he's a repeat offender. He's copied the user handle of another member . Leaving aside everything else he's done & he's certainly done a lot since last night if this isn't openly trolling I don't know what is ?

My only gripe from you was casteist attack and remember, you were the one who used offensive "gawar" language on a public forum not me. Mods deleted them for obvious reasons. I don't have screenshot of those but you could have simply replied to me in a civilized manner. I just urged you to be self reflective and stop bending facts to brute force your way to make your point. I was watching Lakshay movie. Hits different when you are in your 20s and just might have missed out from joining the army. Honestly, feels extremely relatable when ya were aimless, had a breakup and found your purpose again.

Also folks can ya all help me a bit. I had applied for TGC Tech entry and I have been shortlisted. I have a SSB interview call in April. I never expected to be shortlisted because last year cutoff in my branch for TGC tech was way more than what I scored in gradution. This year I just scraped through the cutoff by 0.8 margin. Call it luck or whatever, I was extremely surprised to get the call letter. I was highly motivated to give my best for SSB but I realized I have a problem.

Here's the problem. Eyesight standards in TGC tech entry is myopia should be <-3.5D. I have -4.5D in both eyes. I could get a Lasik done but it requires to be done 6 months before SSB interview. 6 months that I don't have because my SSB is in April. This is my last chance because after that I will be ineligible due to age criteria.

So is there a way out of this?

Don't know too much about this technicality but would advise to simple go and attend the SSB.
Prepare well for the screening process. once you are through it then a lot of things can happen - you only know during Conference day.​

Hello everyone! Hope all the fellow forumites are doing all well and fine. I just dropped in for a while to write a couple of posts on some issues/topics.

So I am came here to ask for some advice or more specifically some help. I do understand that most of you guys are much older than me, and you have much more experience than me when it comes to facing the various challenges, difficulties and tough times in life. So I just need to some help from you all.

1. I have a tendency to always get emotional or nostalgic while:
-listening to an old song.
-going to a place where I used to go very often with my loved ones but now almost/completely stopped going to.
- looking at my old photos from many years back, etc.
So all I want to know is:
Are these normal emotions and feelings for someone of my age?
Is this normal or abnormal? and most importantly how do I deal with it?
I know many of my mutuals here are much older than me and have been through my age, so you have more experience than me, so maybe you can help me with this.
2. How do I deal with regrets? For e.g Whenever I hear some news on the internet showing some JEE Topper going to IIT/NIT or NEET topper going to AIIMs and getting admission into professional streams like Engineering, B.Tech, MBBS etc, I can't help but cry regretting that even I could have been an IITian, AIIMsonian, but due to several circumstances that plagued my life especially during my school years and even my 10+2, I couldn't answer any CET Like NEET or JEE for e.g to get admission into such top colleges. Right now I am going to give NEET this year to give my best to at least get an MBBS seat at Goa Medical College, don't know if I will clear it or not but I am going to give it my best, if I don't get it, I will continue with B.Sc, but still the regrets are hurting me till now to the point that I sometimes break down a bit.
3. Why is that no matter how good and kindly I act towards some people, they all of a sudden ghost me and outright hate me? I don't understand. I have observed that there are so many people who I used to treat so nicely, always used to help them whenever they needed me, even went out of my way to help others but all of a sudden they act like I don't exist? I don't know if you guys have experienced something similar but if you have, I would like to know what you guys have to say.
4. What are some very important life lessons you all would want me to know? Please tell me because I want to be better prepared for my future and I know that life will have its fair share of ups and downs but I am not going to give up but face them head on.

I am 18 Y/Os old at the time of writing this post and next month in February, I am going to turn 19, 19 is one last year as a teenager for me and I want to make the best out of my last two years a teenager, not waste it at all, so I will not be here for the most part on this forum, I have decided that I am better off spending more of my life in the real world than digital.

That said, I hope I get some response, thank you in advance to those reply to me.

Life has its own pace, everything will fall in place when they're supposed to, the only thing in your hand is working on yourself. Everything else is beyond your control.

1. Getting emotional is what we as a human are biologically supposed to do don't get influenced by all these incels and redpill bullshit. Cry if you feel like, you'll feel good.

2. In short term...don't get stuck in loop of regrets, you'll mess up your present. Rather note down one or two "takeaway" from those regrets so that you don't have the same regret twice. If it was a failed relationship then these could be red flags of both you and your partner and if it was something related to academics then may be some topics that you need to work on.
In long term...find something bigger/better than the regret. We're very simple machines, the day you'll find something better the brain would overshadow the older regrets.

3. You either stop doing things for others or do everything possible without expecting anything from them.
Western philosophy, Indian Shruti...whatever you consult, this is only way to "love", they day you'll start expecting anything in return you'd just start tormenting yourself.

4. • Focus on health, this 20-30 year bracket is the perhaps the best possible window you've to work on it. Nothing hardcore, just diet and some compound exercises.
• Don't miss mental health.
• Give back to your parents in whatever way you can because time runs out pretty quickly and then you realise all the things that you could have done.
• Try not to fall for a girl whom you just like, rather find someone with whom you see both of you helping each other grow.
• Have a hobby that you're insanely passionate about; this is what'll keep you alive. Can be anything from cooking, books, painting, photography to biking to automotive; but you should have atleast one thing for which you're just illogically crazy about...or otherwise you'll turn into a walking corpse.

Don't know much about all the different applications but firearms are generally bit complex.

You almost always use glass or carbon fibre reinforced polymer which in itself is bit complicated than simple polymers. You also can't use simple two die moulds as you've a lot a internal features so it's a multi-part mould. You also have metal reinforced injection moulding.
