guys I wanna know are we still doing forward patrolling in Kashmir? Few years back those patrol units frequently came under ambush. Nowadays it doesn't happen. So was wondering if we still do it or gave up on it?

Yes. Ambushes were mainly BAT + terrorist cross-border attacks. Due to ceasefire it has reduced drastically.

it's the snow. once the snowing starts, mountain passes from PoK begin to close, tango activity comes down in jungles. picks up in built up areas.

There is hardly any snow this Nov in J&K. Snow takes effect from Jan - March.

This is more likely Indo-China truce + Pakistan judging the winds in US deep state.

i keep an eye on first news of snowfall in j&k every year, but i don't post updates every year.
first news that comes is of higher altitudes, as weeks go by it comes to lower areas.

its private chartered chopper. I know they were in operation in nepal. Not sure about India.
