Combat Air-Teaming System (CATS)

I think HVT sir talked about CATS warrior with shiv aroor I think and did say they have worked lots of experience on making a aircraft so making unmanned isn't hard only getting the control system is the hard part and we have worked with DRDO and "A Private sector" so this might be the private sector part he was talking about

What's warrior 2 ?

Second prototype?
Big brother of warrior .
A bigger loyal wingman drone.

Current cats warrior uses two indegenious PTAE-7 engines, each produces max 3.73 Kn of thrust.
Total ~7.5Kn of thrust.( No afterburner)

Warrior 2 will use single HTFE-25 engine, which will produce max 25KN of thrust.(No afterburner).

Same HTFE-25, engine will also be used to create a stealth HALE UAV, As part of CATS(Combat air teaming system) program.

Currently there seems to be no solid plan for such beyond a certain slide. Will take a decade or more.

The first prototypes of Abhimanyu are expected to undergo flight trials soon. These will include carrier landings, combat simulations, and coordination with manned jets. Each test will gather data to refine systems and eliminate bugs.

As per this.

These uav's are not that hard to make.
Unless you are trying to do something almost impossible, like achieving 30k feet flight altitude with usable payload using 2 piston engines( Tapas/rustom 2) to save "cost" , while all others just went with turboprop engines instead( now new indegenious engines developed for tapas are turboprop, and engine used in archer-ng is also turboprop).

Once HTFE-25 is developed, we have all the tech needed to make a HALE stealth UAV, so ~ 2030 is what I think for entering service.

Way too optimistic given Archer-NG itself has a pessimistic timeline. Weaponised version will be completed by 2028 for a basic armed MALE UAV.

Again, HALE UCAV is far away. Even the turboprop one by ADE/DRDO hasn't got CCS sanction. First they should induct CATS Warrior and Ghatak before 2030.

Heck, let HTFE-25 become operationally clear first, it still is under development.
