some thoughts on this design compared to previous one-
1.stealth is not a priority
>The ldg door dont have jagged ends
>inlet more cruise missile ish and not DSI type we saw before
> smoother curves
>different tail fins
>rivets etc are clearly visible

It's a prototype after all initial few Tejas and the recent tejas have quite some difference and same will happen here.

CATS Max as 2nd line of defence with 4 x Astra MK 3 as semi fighter with considerable agility

Ghatak as 3rd line of defence with 6 × Astra Mk 3 as BVR missile truck

AMCA in AWACS role while having data from all airborne units

Also, this looks like some other version of CATS Warrior, since the prototype doesn't seem to have any stealth design features.

Is it confirmed anywhere this is intended to carry Astra style AA missiles?

Also don't worry about stealth and all, even the Turki Kaane and Kizilema have very rough looking full-scale prototypes

So the CATS does not have any internal weapons bay? Just external weapons? If so, what significant advantage does this platform bring? Asking out of curiosity and not black pilling.

Should have an internal weapons bay, that's what previous scaled model and 3D renders were showing





However in these it only shows SAAW which is an anti-runway missile, not Air-to-Air missile like Astra and all, that's why asking other memberaans.
