Combat Air-Teaming System (CATS)

In what scenarios can this cats warrior be effectively utilized?
Just curious 🧐
Nothing, even the USAF seems to be realizing that low cost cheap attriable UAVs are sitting duck and useless. Unless one is preparing for a surprise strike against enemy, they are atmost be used as Missile Carriers. They lack range, speed, agility to keep up with larger fighters which inturn effect larger fighters own flight profile.

How exactly does this thing does CAP is not still satisfactorily explained by anyone- because even if we assume it's not One on One replacement for manned ones, it's internal magazine is atmost 2, it lacks speed for interception or endurance.

Hence, I envisage atleast 15-ton 1x 50-kN(dry) & 70-80 kN(Wet) thrust either F404 Or F414 size loyal wingman that is able to satisfy the speed, range, agility and have atleast 4 AAMs inside.

I think it is more suitable for army .The use of two SAAW bombs seems highly effective for the army when targeting and destroying enemy posts. Even if intercepted by systems like the Javelin, they are far more cost-efficient compared to deploying a fighter jet.

Saaw-smart anti airfield weapon ie used by airforce to destroy other airforce bases

Javelin is atgm ,stinger is the manpad used to intercept air targets

I wasn’t aware that the SAAW cannot be used for operations beyond bombing aircraft bases.

saaw might be modded but 100kg explosive isnt as useful as other bigger lgb kits with 500 kg bombs for regular targets
saaw with seeker might be useful for precision targets

Can be used as force multiplier and draw attention to these from main manned fighters.. in peace time can be used for CAPs to fill the gaps

Flying wings are stealthier for air-to-ground roles. Moreover, the idea of employing such roles against China using our fighters is far from realistic. Warfare isn't a turn-based scenario where both sides take turns to bomb each other. Any strike would need to be conducted on a massive scale. Deploying 500 hypersonic glide vehicles (HGVs) would be far more effective than relying on 500 small combat collaborative aircraft (CCAs). The numerical advantage of China is overwhelming—they will undoubtedly produce more J-20s than the number of CCAs Generals gonna order, even without factoring in their own large CCAs, J-36, J-50. The notion that such small assets could cross enemy borders and neutralize airbases is a delusion. We can't escape from Rocket Forces- that's it.
