My take final!
First of all here are many who love particular batsmen and bowlers, so I am not going to name except few "Thankyou" ones, I am going to name position and how as a nation them and we Indians forgot DHARMA.

So, top orders batsmen in this series, they deserve out through the door treatement, from top 1 to 4.

Top order batsmen are always considered best in a team, it's there duty to score runs and if not then take the blow and increase the pain for opposing bowlers.

All of them except Jaiswal who clearly didn't get a good mentor failed.

To all Chokli fans, your Chokli is not even half height to Sachin, always remember Sachin 241 against Australians in Sydney and what made him do that.

Now middle order batsmen, there DHARMA is to hold the fort if the above SUPER BATSMEN fail to perform, yes, this is your main purpose, but we GOT PANT T20 here instead, the guy scored blistering 61 in this match while playing only 33 balls, give the man his due and please tell him "BETA TU AB T20 AUR ODI hin khel", Jadeja too should leave, go and support his BJP wife and Washington go and atleast try to atleast become Moscow, show russians resilience and then return back, Reddy with no consistency, all of these middle order batsmen need grueling domestic test matches.

Now, to bowlers, except Bumrah, everyone failed to support him, I simply don't understand (SHOULD BE PARADED NAKED IN PUBIC FOR THIS DISASTER)SELECTORS urge to pair Siraj with him, when Bumrah natural partner is Shami. If Bumrah is still so uncomfortable with Shami go and suck mommy milk because you are then a kid.

None of the bowlers except Bumrah have a bowling style that give long term stability for a good line and length that is necessary for test. Go and watch West Indies legends and Racist Australians bowlers.

Good smooth and flowing body bowlers, who even if not having smooth bowling action atleast have lever action like Bumrah (just see his left hand how it controls him) which can help in generating good line and length.
I never liked Siraj bowling action.

Me myself being with bowling action which combined bond and Thomson when I was in my playing days knew how over the top too much generation of pace from right hand but no coordination from legs as well as left hand can generate no balls or wide..

Hilarious part is that India with MRF academy doesn't even have a genuine fast bowler now, what they do there? manufacture tyres?!

They manufacturer Hugesh khan and Charasdeep Singh over there. Both screams like they are being fooked while bowling darts at 120/130 and full tosses with little to no discipline and at an average close to 20per over. Our bowling is so fked up apart from Bumrah, Shami, shiraj and pandya that rest will not find any takers in third tier county teams like UAE and Nepal forget about national team. But in India, under Nepo chief, anything is possible. Chokli and KLPD are in the every tour despite making runs consistently under double digits and Charasdeep and Hagesh khan without even taking any wickets in whole tournament and with average nearing 15 to 20s

My friend charasdeep and Hugesh were not in the playing XI for this series.

Both of his druggies were LOIs bowlers and we played test for last 1 month. Never in sight.
 
Major Failures attributed in the current series included :

1.The Strategy of Australian cricket board of keepin perth as the first venue for the test matches helped them in achieving the goal to keep Bumrah over fatigued by the end of the 5th Match ,helped them
to subdue his presence towards the end of the series.The idea was to burn him out so that Aussies
could undo indian pace bowlers easier .

2.The renowned Indian top Order Batters with the exception of jaiswal/pant underperformed in all the Tests(2-5) and Kohli with his flawed batting techniques in challenging Australian Grounds reflected
dismal performace and his state of mind also reflected in his body behaviour.This tilted the whole
equation of the game where India never reached basic 100 runs without loosing first 4 wickets in all most all matches,It was sheer luck we drew the game in Brisbane cant forget when Kholi got overjoyed when rain came to rescue.

3 Scott Boland could do the damage when starc got stuck with less wickets.Over all Aussies really
planned the strategy to near perfection to overcome Indian challenges in a clinical manner.we should credit
them for the planning and execution of the strategies including handling of Aussie bowlers .Secondly by
playing in IPL they do have a deeper understanding of How every indian batter approaches the game and ones weakness.

4.I think because of upcoming IPL ,our stars would be in a comfort zone of financial remuneration ,where
few hours of hardwork would give them hefty returns.
 
Apparently Vidya Balan posted the entire screenshot for Rohit Sharma shared by his PR Team. Then after the stupidity she done deleted and posted the post properly.

The entire Lunch interview is one big PR to showcase he is selfless captain. I mean which captain is selfish. Guy is trying to salvage his marketing campaigns.

He shat the bed and GG asked to step down, I think this will turn ugly in this year. With Kohli also most probably shown door, this may be PR slugfest.

Venue selection does not have any influence on Outcome. It is just poor performance by your entire bowling unit barring Bumrah which forced him to bowl too many overs. He will be bog down after 3 matches by the way when PRohit used him like cow, he escaped upto 4 only to end up not bowling in SCG.

Siraj is cooked and Akash Deep does not have the pace to get wickets. Harshit Rana is way too new and Prasidh Krishna is parachuted after an Year in an test to bowl new ball which he did not done more than a year.

Also with batting failures this much, bowlers don't have any say and need to bowl at max to get the wickets.

The next high workload is Bumrah which is 110 overs still less. Other 3 were basically out of depth.

Should have allowed Siraj to take out rest. Guy played all test matches now. Without rotating fast bowlers especially 3 format ones like him this is bigger problem with fatigue coming into play.

Agreed with 2nd point the top order failed for few years and lower order starting from 5 saved our asses. Need to see whether India have worst top 4 batters among all test playing teams from 2020.

3rd point is debatable. RP ripped out Boland and forced him to bowl wide lines. They Lost 2 series where certain No.3 batter will bat for near 200 balls and grind Australian bowlers to death. In this series this is basically not the case, all of them were fresh since PRince, King can't survive 10 balls.

Also if we really have IPL Team Analyst in Indian setup, we will win every ICC Trophy now. IPL Teams have far better analyst than our team.

Cricket becomes data oriented and we are still here talking mindless mumbo jumbo like selfless captaincy, intent bullshit.

Just collect data points about the pitch, length to be bowled, how batsman should play in this pitch. Analyst should collect the data and shared to coach and coaches should suggest players to adapt accordingly.

We never do this and expect results is madness.

IPL != Test. Our selectors have this recency bias of pulling players from t20 to test. But our Test squad is basically Ranji players only. Picked based on Potential is NKR.

Easwaran - Ranji, Sarfaraz - Ranji, Dhruv Jurel-Ranji/IPL, Prasidh Krishna - Ranji, Deep - Ranji, Jadeja - Ranji (Guy is big in Ranji), Washi - Ranji. IPL.

In fact I would suggest to drop the concept of 3 format players and All format captains. If you want Red ball players let them be. The era is over with Kohli.

Bang on anyone who thinks IPL is playing a part in Test selection is misinformed every one of these guys has had a breakout ranji season before making it in test team accept maybe NKR
 
If someone asked me who would be the most average player ever to play international cricket for decades , for me it would be ravindra jadeja.
that guy peaked and ended in CT 2013. never have i ever saw him again exceling, leave one or two instances of home test series, he claimed wickets but that guy is horrible when it comes to bat.
That guy never won a single man of the series in whole career test or odi, and has been playing for over a decade. max MOM awards were all in home matches.
that guy is our premier all rounder for last 12-13 years :bplease::bplease:. keeping in mind , pandya is always in and out of the game.

Compare it with other teams - maxwell ( aus)
ben stokes ( eng)
shakib al hasan ( bang)
