Discovery of Natural Resources in Bharat (1 Viewer)

ganga basin also had some petroleum reserves but that was ignored by ongc by saying its not viable to drill due to geographic difficulty
Ganga basin also involved a lot of politics. River pollution is already an issue there.

Is this a whole apparatus made of three different reactors or one reactor? From my student days, as far as my knowledge goes AHWR wasn't envisioned to use MSR. View attachment 40372
Yes, this apparatus will consist of three reactors:
a. PHWR
b. FBR
c. MSR

Any reactor which uses molten salt as coolant/fuel is referred to as MSR. AHWR can be designed to use molten salt and therefore it is type of MSR. In future, even PHWRs will use molten salt; the research on this is still in progress.

Nope, not happening. First, we got to meet domestic demand which is at 5 million barrels per day. You meet that demand domestically, boom in one strike you cancelled $200 billion outflow from our forex. This will keep INR stable for a long time with inflation less than 2% like in developed countries. However, I am afraid we will be having a resource curse. The moment you find the black gold you bet every leech and parasitic scum from Congress to TMC to AAP to SP to DMK will start demanding lower Oil prices. We will lower Oil prices for votes and forget transitioning to sustainable renewable sources. Take a look at what Oil has done to Nigeria.

If we did find black gold and utilize the resources properly for let's say 40 years, then we can catapult ourselves quickly to middle income status. Parallelly I hope we also focus on EVs, fuel cells, green hydrogen, wind energy, and solar. We should be prepared for the day when Oil is no longer required or when we run out of it as well. That requires a stable government with sane minds who can think about the future of the country as well. As long as leeches and parasitic scum of dynastic parties exist I hope we don't find too much of black gold.
well oil hv byproducts also....even if we replace petrol nd diesel

even if we replace petrol nd diesel with EVS, green hydrogen, solar etc....petroleum oil still use for some byproducts. so petroleum oil uses will go down in future, but it will not completely become useless.

Chinese money at work. This is precisely the reason those Chinese have eye on our NE. Because it's mineral rich.
do you remember line 3 aarey depot protest?? dont cut down muh trees, save mumbai's lungs, their protest was so effective that they made so many bjp supporters anti bjp in this matter, including me

but when i read a tweet from mmrc that they will plant 20% trees cut down and in reality if those trees could absorb lets say 10k kg co2, the metro will prevent 10 million kg co2 emission in the city, so it was logical to support metro and not those aarey shed protestors

Yep also it's a myth tree magically fix CO2 emissions. Because those themselves release a lot of CO2. Also trees are very inefficient at storing CO2 in their trunk. Lmao it much easier to replace the source of CO2 emission that is fossil fuel gulping cars, autos, etc. than planting trees. No doubt trees and bushes help in controlling pollution but only at supplimentary level. Metro, EVs and Hydrogen powered public transportation/buses are the solution to pollution in Mumbai..

co2 isnt stored, its used in a reaction which produced glucose and oxygen as biproduct

trees are also important atleast at our level, i have seen this, my nani ghar has very few trees like at max 2-3, it feels hotter during summer while in my dadi ghar we have 10-12 mango trees right in front, whole day it feels so good even though temp is 40-42, the trees help a lot

but aarey protest was idiotic and politically sponsored by commies and khangressis
