And I've been told by the guy who is literally also a credible journalist that 10ton ucav airframe was ready,awaiting kaveri integration and also there was a tender earlier for assembling of aero mechanical systems of uav in 2021 which was likely ghatak.

Akash missile system actually a credible system . Current generation uses a 3D pesa radar . If you compare it's cost to other similar ranged system it might not even be 50 percent of their costs . Missile units are even cheaper .

The new generation Akash will use 3D aesa radar , Active radar seeker , canisterized solid fuel dual pulse missiles , network centric warfare . It might cost more than earlier version but still be cheaper in comparison to other such system of similar range .

Have we spent ~ 2500 cr on the Kaveri just like that only to dump whatever we've achieved & learnt in the process ? If the answer is yes then I've nothing to say .

However if the answer is no , try to probe deeper & read between the lines or headlines in this case & learn to distinguish sensationalism from facts .

If it can't meet lca thrust then why not use it for transport planes rather than killing it?
