Then we should go for the unicorn, which is larger version of Ghatak into an bomber. An Flying wing planeform based long range, long endurance bomber similar to B2 can be achived using an 4 KDE Engine. The flying wing is being tested by DRDO for ghatak and the thrust output from 4 Kaveri is around 196 KN which is super useful.

We already have Insane Radar in the form of Virupaksha, we have DCMAWS, We are working on EOTS.

Only chindigiri is the problem rather than tech issue.

The internal payload will be massive and we can put HCMs.

This is what I am thinking about. The bomber will be literally loiter in IOR for long time and can do stand off strike even with Brahmos, Nirbhay etc. Brahmos ER will be 800 Km and Nirbhay at base will give an 1500KM to 2000KM weapon.

Also with an base line HCM this will be god tier plane.

Only problem is one need very high accuracy for Bunker busters. CEP need to be ~3 meters for a perfect hit.

As i've said before "Not an era of war" chooran is actually consumed by the leader.

You can have the imports with some domestic maal to fill the gaps but they don't want even that.

Mgs is being dragged like atags despite pakis having great advantage in themselves of 155mm artillery
Look at BF line up and sane country would have inducted marg mgs ulh atags garuda in huge nos as artillery dominates warfare and we can even build attrition
Awacs procurement is so slow despite Pakis again having numerical advantage any country with indigenous sensor suite would have built huge number of awacs

If they wanted numbers in the 2000s itself they should have gone for a J-10/Gripen/mk2 MWF type plane design instead of doing drama over little Tejas.

Other major air forces have this high low combo
Rus - Su-27/Mig29
Cheen - J-16/J-10
US - F-15/F-16

Then again Tejas was a sarkari project, inko toh import hi karna tha, Mirage nahi to Rafale hi sahi.

Now Rafale is a given, next will be shilling for F-35 for the next 10-15 years.

They are used to 2 month max conflicts thanks to our political class and Napak cowards calling on Abbu Amrika for ceasefire, when they find themselves in a conflict of the future where they run out of imported wunderwaffe missiles and bombs and even platforms, that time they will see the value of domestic production and design control.

Calm down birather the pilotwa is sittin' on a J10 and the avic account says customer satisfaction and not potential customers, most likely it's about the J10 vs Rafale thing, as in Pakistanis are satisfied with the product they recieved.
J35 naval and J35A both just went into LRIP.
