The thing is you may show yourself as a pristine org or whatever but the charade can only run for so long. There's a limit to which you can fool someone by your actions.
It's like a story writing itself, orgs which again and again show incompetence either by mistake, design or intention and yet refuse to accept shortcomings, who try to show themselves as an ideal one are bound to be criticised by its own ardent supporters.

It's like if you perform well, your greatest supporters will become your greatest haters. More so when the incompetence or supposedly self sabotage is deemed to be an intentional one.

What exactly will be DRDO's incentive for putting money, time, resource in a new more complicated artillery project, when the older, simpler one (ATAGS) is still hanging by a thread!?

Good news everyone. Our favourite DPSU AWEIL namely GCF Jabalpur after our favourite lab ADE now has a fig leaf known as L&T behind which it's concealing its nudity for the latest tender viz TGS.

What this means is L&T will produce the assemblies if they're awarded the tender & AWEIL will do the final assembly & badge it .

Why ? Because since 2019 GCF is struggling to deliver 114 nos 39 cal 155 mm Dhanush howitzers . Up until date they've delivered all of 24 nos which is a great achievement by their standards.
