Zero
They are blaming it on engines supply and israel for radar integration.
But in reality HAL has al least 4 to 5 reserve engines but as usual they won't take accountability and blame it on others. The new deadline in March 25

I doubt we will ever be able to compete with China. Here forces guys are above criticism while simping for foreign maal. Only Indian Navy seems to work towards self reliance, slowly but surely. To be honest, with the level of firearm training and no magnifier optics being provided, our IA is simply not deserving of SIG 716i, just give them desi battle rifle, that's good enough for them. When they atleast succeed to provide basic modern gear to each soldier after 1 million years then maybe comeback and ask for muh rifle and muh jetpack, robodog and robo- Carolina and Natasha.


I don't care even if our weapons are even 60% of the requirement. Just shove them down thier throats and do iterative improvements. Better induct and improve.

I don't care if BHIM T6 was not as optimal for a tracked system design with all ammo in its turret. But still it was ahead in automation than the current K9 thunder where charge has to put manually, in BHIM T6 both charges and round were fed automatically. We got ATAGS AND AMAGS, we need ATSPH. Bring back BHIM with ATAGS gun, enough of this screwdrivering and calling muh Korean K9 90+% indigenous saar.

Bhim is still possible. We already have the chassis of Arjun MK1A, We have ATAGS, Dhanush, even BF ULH.

Just mate them and get the Frankenstein monster. Still better than sitting on RFI, RFP and talking about the imaginary product in various forums.

Rustom is becoming a deadly combination with 4 ATGMs.

Again this is our daily does of CGI/Graphics based aircrafts.

Not really, more or less in line with international offerings considering it will be the first time DRDO is attempting something like this. Like the industry standard F-BINO from L3Harris weighs around 700g with a back-up of 8hr.

Also at this point even they don't know what exactly they want it's just a vague description drawn from going through the brochures of multiple foreign offerings. The ultimate product will likely surpass both the weight and endurance requirements.
