DRDO and PSU's

Does anybody has an informed guess on the real range of pralay. Hard to believe that it's range is around 400-500km mark. It's a huge missile whose fuel loading itself is around the weight of a whole single iskander missile.
There are multiple iskander variants. IskanderM Nuke capable is the one with 500km range and weighs about 4.5 Tons.

seems stryker shall be forced down our throat
Have been hearing about this Stryker thingy for close to 4 years now. Not easy to convince a fiscally uber conservative kanjoos PMO, I guess.

There are much better ways to appease Trumpwa, btw. Some NatGas and Oil deals (which will be bigger than some piecemeal orders of US gears) will help us diversify our procurements, ensure energy security (we wouldn't have to rely on Qatar) and do the trick. Also, Republicans would love this - given their rapport with oil and natgas companies.

Indigenous industry is always the first casuality.

Why do we always assume it's the Stryker. Even if it's pushed, There is scope for 2000 + such platforms in next 15 years. We can adjust few hundred stryker in between.

Sagarika, Shaurya, Pralay and SMART; all uses the same rocket motor and basic schema. There's no way you'd have this much deviation among them; they all should have pretty much the same range given the payload is constant.
This looks like it's a pure gatling cannon, what's the relation to the VSHORADS?
Naval CIWS or Close In "Weapon" System is designed to shoot down missile at the minimum possible range using anything possible like Gatling guns (Phalanx) or missiles (RIM-116) or combination of both (Kashtan) or single barrel gun (Millenium) or LASER (DragonFire) or microwave (Epirus). Because the emphasis is on shooting down missile at close range irrespective of what you use to do it; it uses the term "Weapon" instead of gun or missile.

Now when the same CIWS is used in land based application it's designation changes to C-RAM or Counter-Rocket, Artillery and Mortar because these are pretty much the only threat you're going to face on land. And just like CIWS, here also it's up to you that what weapon you use. You can use a Gatling gun like Centurion or in this case; the VSHORAD missiles.

See if Lockheed is buying or renting new office spaces. F-35's being offered is a big possibility. I'm half expecting more Apaches (a substantial order this time), Strykers inevitable at this point, more MQ-9Bs, MH-60s, M777 howitzers plus repeat Chinook order, a repeat order for C-130Js (won't surprise me), Big batch of Harpoons and Mk54 torpedos, eye watering order of Hellfire missiles, Patriots or THAAD offer can be refloated as well.

Just place an order for one additional S-400 battery and lease two Akulas and voila...you've saved yourself from all these 🤣

True... additional Chinook, P-8I, MH-60R, aircraft & marine engines, certain air launched munitions enough to fit the bill.

Options

Aman ki Aasha, Ishwar-Ola tero naam, Ganga-Jamni Tehzeeb

  • CH-47 Chinook
  • MH-60R Romeo
  • P-8I Poseidon
  • KC-130 Stratotanker
  • C-17 but foot the bill for restarting the line

Jaziya but also your daughter is the slave of the collector ☠️
  • F-18 instead of Rafale
  • F-15

Sultan Doland is rational man so Aman Ki Aasha options will do.

Dude, it's fucking Trump we're talking about here, I don't think he'd give a fuck. The guy is all about money.

The more Roosian gear you get the more your jaziya to be paid increases. :bplease:

Brozzer, those are leverage.
Anyway Gobi will have to pay the first installment when he meets Dolund "bhai" else suddenly GE has problems with the F414 ToT agreement and GE F404 production is delayed

Forgot to add C-130J in the Jaziya category, It's 20 ton max capacity would be a two birds with one stone, since the Zorawar LT is 26 tons, It can be sent for (((changes))) to reduce while scoring a large 🪛 contract for Tata and favors for all the other beneficiaries, win-win for everyone but national interest

JDAM-ER is a "kit" which you can attach to any compatible Mark-80 serious bomb according to the requirement but Gaurav seems to
Continuing a bit on this as we now have a slightly better pic

Gaurav is quite chonky.
Maybe because of it not being a "bomb" but a "warhead assembly" in a bomb. Gaurav and this Mk-84 are both in the 1,000kg class.

A rough sketch of Gaurav (bottom) and GBU-31; both being GPS guided 2,000lbs bombs. The actual explosive part is in green
