Exhibition depicting products of our favourite DRDO lab - the ADE comprising of the Archer, Archer NG, Tapas , Abhyas & the Nirbhay CM.
Also the HGV which has a range of 1500 kms, is launched from a ground based TEL & can attain a speed of Mach 10 aiming at a moving target which in this case happens to be a ship. I'm guessing it can be launched to target assets on land as well.

Ofc what makes a fighter 6th gen then is only decided by brochures of what is available from 5 places in the world.
All these fighter jet related science projects( radar, missiles, 5gen fighter, mwf ) must be cancelled, since nothing will be inducted, money is unironically better spent on some Ladla Voter yojana, atleast that gives the ruling party some votes and poor citizens may get little extra to spend/save.

That’s counterproductive. Frequency selective materials are used in nose cone to do the same. Why blind the radar itself.Tho it can be useful to reduce rcs of radar of fighter jets when radar is not in use, shielding the radar inside nose cone of fighter jets that's the only place it can be useful.

That's Astra mk3 employing solid fuel ducted ramjet which can be throttled during its operation. Meaning it can be programmed to generate moderate thrust or even low thrust during the cruise phase. And then operate at max thrust levels during the end game to give it that extra energy to play with. This ensures that Astra mk3 has a huge NEZ, much higher than Meteor, PL-15, PL-21, R-37M, AIM120D3.
It has a higher range than Meteor.
I can bet my left kidney that this even OUTCLASSES AIM260.
And it will be having a gimballed Aesa seeker which will improve the scan volumes this reducing the chance that a hostile aircraft can fly out of the seeker view.
Aesa seeker will also make it more immune to most types of jamming.

Even with merits the advantages in stealth it will give for radar will be minimum and the power generation requirement will mean it's not worth it use it even just for radar, unless some radical tech breakthrough happens plasma tech is not worth it.My point is not the merits/demerits/effectiveness of the specific technology, it is that kuch bhi kare IAF doesn't want their stuff.
What is this supposed to be launched from? Su-30? Is it effective even without AESA radar like Virupaksha on the plane?

As for astra mk3.
Imagine stealth jet or loyal wingman or even tejas, su30 or other fighterjet, managed to lock on a plane, put they don't have missiles or plane is 150km away and thet only have astra mk1 with max 110km but behind our aircrafts is another Aircraft flying 50-60km behind with astra mk3 with 300km range, now the aircraft in front can guide astra mk3 carried by aircraft from behind.
Another scenario, is awacs killer, using su30mki's radar or radar of stealth aircraft much closer to enemy awacs.
There are also other scenarios.
