bhai how much more intake you want?? compared to 2018 level and now, literally people in nits are living in double seater rooms with 4 people, 3 beds 2 table, is it liveable? in iits still its better that double seater rooms have 3 people

iits nits iiits are running at 1.5+x strength due to govt blindly increasing intake, what about jobs?? pvt sector dhandho want profit, they dont want to give pay, our colleges have become software engineer plants

you want vit level intake in iit? 5000 cs students in iitb, 5000 in delhi, 5000 in kanpur 5000 in madras?? #PradhanMantriAbHarKoiIITianBanegaYojna

man just compare 2018 and 2024 seat matrix of the institutes, labs and lecture halls and other infra hasnt improved by even a % in nits, they are literally giving faecal water in top 3 nit like nitk surathkal, 1900s level infra in mnnit a, nit raipur doesnt give hostel to general category students
dtu has so much intake that what should i say now

this looks the way it does because of the difference in time scale, demand(talent/skill) surge happens in a time scale of less than 5 years, but to prepare the feeder stock to that skill demand surge it takes 10 in STEM and 25 years for medical field(AIIMS). institutional building takes time, to first set up infra and the institution to settle in it's routine, but once the annual routine of an institution gets stabilized it's a golden goose.

since 91, there have been multiple such sudden demand surges, in IT and ITES(global and domestic), in power sector, in infra etc. ultimately companies did manage to find skilled people in the past.

not having infra and skill feeder pipeline in place, when the demand surge happens is even worse. there will be a slight lag(in years) between skill demand and availability. but they usually sync up and stabilise.

on this topic, snapshot analysis gives some picture but not all of it. 5-10 year observational periods of past trends gives a better idea.

How did China even produced 7nm chip without having access to the latest EUV machines?

As far as ik they have their own DUV machines based on old DUV machines imported from Japan and US. So I wonder what trick they used to bypass limitations of DUVs ? Is this why the performance isn't that great?

As far as I have read most of the Chinese CPUs & GPUs don't perform that well even when you compare those to lower end AMD products from 5-7 years ago.

Have you watched this? Gives a pretty good summary.

Ah so they used multi patterning. Isn't that very expensive and prone to defects compared to EUVs? On a positive note well ig we can also do that if US restrict EUV sale to us.

Yes Multi patterning has much lower yield and higher defect rates. You can even do 5nm with multi/quadruple/octa patterning. Though, It's not sustainable tbh.

Chinese fabs have a captive business at a domestic level + gormint funding incase things go south so its working out for them.

They haven't. Have you been watching recently something odd on the internet on popular platforms like facebook, youtube etc? Nearly every popular channel or facebook page are claiming China made a break through in this and that. Like literally it has become ubiquitous now. I was reading during COVID time how the Chinese have bought off some people in Western media to not go hard on China's handling of COVID break out at the beginning of the pandemic.

If these guys can do that to big media folks, I am pretty sure they can do that to few of the youtube channels and people running facebook pages, twitter accounts with huge following. It will be peanuts to buy off these guys compared to big media guys. Today morning I read from popular Science facebook page how China has built a hypersonic aircraft which can travel at Mach 16. Does it make any sense from the Physics standpoint for an aircraft to travel in our atmosphere at that speed? The aircraft would be ripped apart from collision of molecules in our atmosphere. Then their claim about breaking RSA encryption using Quantum computer, which was another BS when looked at it deeply.

There was a video by youtuber "serpentza" who lived in China for 14 years who busted their fake claim about autonomous hydrogen tractor. This was quite sometime ago, unfortunately I cannot find the video of it. All in all take it with a pinch of salt when the Chinese claim something. They are using information warfare to the fullest extent possible.

The current dutch govt is far right, and its main politician geert wilders had publicaly supported nupur sharma
We should use the right wing - right wing ideology to improve relations and get those asml machines at a lower price
Right wing isnt as united as left wing, where ever in the world a left govt if formed, it gets immense support
We should also use this to get the lithography machines at a lower cost
