India begins developing its own AI chip, likely to roll out by 2027: Report

The ministry of electronics and information technology (Meity) has partnered with the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-Dac) and the National e-Governance Division to design the chip from the ground-up, the reported said

IIT Madras also had made a RISC-V based microprocessor called Shakti many years back.
It was sent to some Intel facility abroad for fabrication( dunno which country )
 
Xray & CT would generate current in circuit and could fry it. Its for a reason one is asked to take of all metallic objects and devices off your body when you go for ct/xray scan.

CT scan is an xray. There is no electricity generated. I just googled "ct scan chip" and this came up:

Yes, Shakti is the RISC-V based Processor. Intel done the fabrication of the chip.


As our esteemed members said. Shakti processor currently an IIT-M project with government support. Available for end users. Question is does end user ready to invest in this build an custom chips based on Shakti architecture.
