First of all this is a dubious source. Secondly Trump didn't summon Munira to Washington for a dialogue but to comply with an imperial farman . Negotiations isn't an option. It's all or nothing.

Typically think of this as a workplace situation. The aggrieved junior employee voices his grievances & lists his d̶e̶m̶a̶n̶d̶s̶ wants while the top boss hears him out & lists what he expects from this junior employee adding all his demands would be looked into subject to the boss's wishes being fulfilled.

The lunch is for boosting the junior employee's ego & some friendly gestures like the boss putting his arm around the junior employee's shoulder making him feel wanted & an indispensable part of the organisation etc.

Come on guys , most of you've worked in professional organisations. Assuming some of you are in your mid 30s & above , have you not witnessed such situations where the junior employee is simply not suitable for a promotion or raise that he thinks he's entitled to but has some utility for senior management which they want exploited to fulfill their goals. Hence this charade.

This is a master summoning a slave. To think a slave can look into the eye of the master let alone make demands is preposterous. Trump is hard balling even the economically stronger nations. And some folks think he will treat slaves with kid gloves.

It may slightly be beneficial for them but won't be anything substantial for a change. India on the other hand has gained & lost nothing.
Maybe they will get a few more loans in return. It won't be meant to save their economy but to make sure that they barely survive.
The resources will go to America's hands in exchange for being a hired proxy. Their army corporation works to fill their own pockets, not to benefit the average Pakistanis. A pretty bad stunt. It's not the Americans or Indians who will suffer but the average Pakistanis & their economy.
The resources will be siphoned off & they will be milked dry. The net contribution to their economy will be negligible but the army will get richer. That has been their history all along.
China or Russian proxies won't stay silent. Pakistan will always stay as a battleground for superpowers & their army will always do Mujra for money while providing the bare minimum. They will never develop.
So you can rest that case.
Also it's a very sophisticated work to extract such minerals, let alone producing it. Even Americans couldn't extract & match the China's production rate by almost 90% margin. India has a way bigger reserve of REE as well. Russia, Vietnam, Brazil all have. All would be valued in multiple trillions. Even they couldn't extract those due to the complexity & funding. How could you expect Pakistanis to do so while Americans themselves have a huge untapped resource with a limited production rate within their own yard? They're only good at over hyping their illiterate awams.
Nobody will invest in that destitute shithole nation infested with militancy, corruption where the elites become sold outs & change sides every few days. They will always stay as a battleground & center of doubt.
They may beg a few millions of investments but others will do it as well in a 100x rate with more viable ways & technologies. They've non existent industries & manufacturing to even use those things. Mind not these media circus



On the other hand India has started improving production & putting attention to it only recently after Trump's remarks which is a good thing. We can see a huge boost within India in the coming years.
