No. Not reading correctly. Learn what happens to American prisoners in jail convicted of rape especially of children. There are numerous vigilante groups in Amreeka. Amreeeka is not Britain or Canada. Remeber how a CEO was shot dead, Trump was almost assassinated etc. Amreeki only seems soft on the outside due to excessive PR. Underneath they can be very violent even more than Pakis.

Americans, especially in the 80s, grew up on movies like Red Dawn.

I consider that movie one of the best psy ops (of the good kind) that America ever pulled on it's own people.

I believe an Indian Red Dawn, sponsored by the Indian government, explicitly naming China would do well to steel Indian mind towards the slow grind of war we will end up having if China ever attacks us. Not one where victory is inevitable and the struggles are nominal but an actual painful depiction of war with realistic outcomes.

If you guys haven't seen it, you should. People bash on the remake but it still does capture the vibe for the modern era better.

Americans know how to prepare their public for war. After Vietnam, they've sworn never to let public opinion get in the way of good MIC shares.

Let’s not forget Hollywood. Hollywood movies show that Americans are supermen and women, paragons of virtue, heroic, take care of poor people, society is merit based, people are given second chances, everyone is treated fairly, family life is sacred and so on. Nothing can be further from the truth. America is a place where:
— politics is run by billionaires
— Court systems are run by wealthy people
— Highest illiteracy in the developed world
— Significant mental retardation rate
— Barbaric domestic violence
— Hidden racism
— Senate hearing that you see on TV are just theater. Nothing comes off it.
— Apathy to poor and unfortunate. In fact blaming the fallen for their misfortune
— Church pastors becoming millionaires
—Criminals getting presidential pardon even for proven, brutal crimes
— Lying to get ahead.
— Using fear as a tool to suppress people ftom asking questions.
— Regulatory agencies are on paper. Laws are arbitrarily enforced according to the stature of the complainant.
- Police behavior is based on pincode where the station is.
- Cheating to get ahead - especially in sports.
- School shootings
- Non-existent worker protections due to “at-will” employment, which is massively misused.

And so many more. I can write a book on it. Naive India go to Amreeka based on its hollywood image and then find that they can be arbitrarily deported after spending thousands of dollars on education there.

America is very good at shaping information consumed by people. In fact in US Businesses and Government, they call this as “messaging”. Hours and hours of management time is spent on messaging and buzzwords like “effective communications”. Employees who ask uncomfortable questions are demoted or even fired. Public message is tightly controlled.

I always say that these days China and Amreeka are two sides of the same coin. The fates of citizens are completely controlled by the mighty and powerful. And the control is getting tighter with every passing day. Dont be fooled.
