You can pretty much guess the credibility of these retards in world bank, united nations and all.

The data for India's poverty stat being 12% is from 2021 when the country faced the worst wave of Covid-19. Pakistan's is from 2018, possibly one of it's better years when you compare the country's post covid history. Sri Lanka's is from 2019, just before the tourism sector collapsed in wake of the pandemic and before Russian fertilizer was sanctioned. Bangladesh and Nepal's data is from 2022 during the economic resurgence post-Covid and unlike Sri Lanka, at least they had the brains not to concentrate in a handful of sectors relatively speaking.

So yeah, it's not that the World Bank or the UN are retarded or not credible, it's everyone who circlejerks over this data without applying context (case in point, the Pakis on reddit). All this data pointing at 2024 is at best, extrapolation of the World Bank data of 2021 to project the potential increase or decrease in poverty with this data in mind.
