Our Media channels were basically an extended version of Soap Operas. Arunab will shout like moron in the 9-10 debates which never resulted in any meaningful Conclusion. The less said about the politician owned channels which are in their own multiverse.

By not conducting a vote of confidence since the early votes few months back. He had under the table agreement with few left parties to keep the Marine Le Pen out of power.​

France has a dual American & indian type of system - its a preidential system with a parliament ( not HoR/Senate like USA/Brazil but parliament).
Basically France doesnt work and has stopped working in terms of a national machinery since 1990s. But what it is set up as, is Veeru-Jai jori, with President = Veeru, Prime Minister = Jai. President = having more say on foreign policy and executive orders pertaining to money/tax/grants etc. like USA, PM more to do with social services and other bloat etc.

And French Presidential voting is round based knock-outs, meaning last round is only won with 50%+ votes between 2 candidates.

Basically the French public has made it so that Jai is already dead and Veeru's best case scenario is Jai = Uptight Thakur moshai and Veeru(Macron's) worst case scenario is Jai = Gabbar(Le Pen).
So Veeru is screwed except for in foreign policy crap.
 
I'm guessing France should be in the top 10 in the Freedom index or the VDem democracy ratings or Transparency International etc . No backsliding of democracy or all that fancy talk here. No Sir .
