If Kaveri has already achieved 1437°C TET why's the Director GTRE in recent talks heard asking for a JV wherein he specifies GTRE is looking to achieve > ~ 1600°C TET for a 5th Gen TF wherein the temperature range he's specified is more applicable to a 4th Gen TF. For a 5th Gen TF we ought to be looking at a minimum of > ~ 1800°C TET.

And if we've indeed reached thus far why do we need a JV ? Something isn't adding up .

Reading about the progress of the HTFE TF program is extremely frustrating. 2 years ago I recall reading they required 5 years to fully certify it & 2 years later it's still 5 years.

If they eventually do manage to certify it by 2030 it'd be close to ~ 20 years , this project has been under development.

That's almost half the time it's taken for the Kaveri project to get to where it is now .

Then there's Turkiye which has been graduating their TF R&D by constantly upgrading the thrust requirements of each successive iteration of their TF program successfully achieving these milestones , which is well funded & if I'm not mistaken directly supervised by the office of Turdogan himself.

In other words it's their Mission Mode project. RoK has embarked on a similar course of action. Then there's us.

I have stopped analyzing things as I dont know what to believe. Before Aero India we thought 80kn wet and 50kn dry was Achieved albeit with more SFC. But 2025 aero India dished out 2008 09 figures of only 73kn/45kn. The only positive thing that has come out is Screech issue resolved.

I take those figures as something they would achieve with SCB and blink introduction in Kaveri. Frankly we have been hearing such postulations about performance enhancements in Kaveri with such tech infusion for decades.

I mean they vould have at least proofed their research by introducing scb atleast in late Kaveri or even KDE and atleast get them tested in ftb stage. But heck naa..

Surprisingly htfe-25 has higher tet
