From the limited information at hand it seems testing will commence on the LCA in 2028 or later. And we're referring to the 73 KN version here. Also why should it take 3 years for integration of Kaveri with LCA is beyond me .

Besides what is the KDE going to be integrated into ? The Ghatak project hasn't been cleared for funding by the CCS up until now .

They will go very very slow, I guess they will take very long time to complete the taxi trails, only after they gain enough confidence they will go flight testing, one small mishap, baboons will pound on GTRE

A prototype engine to be complete by 2026, this is not a timeline for when it will enter service. Unveiling shiny new render is not a functional engine. In engine testing phase they will likely see unforeseen issues.

Example: Kaveri engine program started in 1986, prototype began testing in 1996, just 10 years of development. But as you can see Kaveri faced many issues during the testing of actual prototypes, to the point where even by now due to funding issues, Kaveri is still not in service.

Those stupid Turks shouldn’t be getting their hopes up for just starting testing a prototype in 2026.

Probably because of modification of intakes and sub-systems..

I think GHATAK/RPSA was given CCS approval back in 22/23 and moved the project under PMO/Confidential..

Here, DD also said it was given approval... Could be just slip of toungue but fairly confident that rescent dry test in Russia was for flight worthy RPSA validation.
