Well....some people have allergies to homegrown tech....personal vested interests over national interests....if i am not wrong u can find few people who still believe that foreign vendors will keep supplying us with necessary airframes or parts during the war....

Legacy of Kadi Ninda & 56" !! This government is not at all serious about either defence or atma nirbharta.

I've said this before - whatever we've achieved today or are achieving are thru natural progression made since the past 4 decades thru efforts in R&D , where every successive government has contributed to keeping this train moving.

To that extent this government needs to be commended for not curbing funding & curtailing the R&D activities of DRDO & its affiliated labs.

Other than that its emphasis on atma nirbharta is a mixed bag just as its legacy. Nothing special or no noteworthy achievements to its tally.

A person like Manohar Parrikar who demitted up office way back in 2018 , is sorely missed , which is a tale in itself & a very sorry one at that .

Ministers, majorly ,are actually complete layman regarding the potential evolution of battlefield technologies & current status of India in comparison to potential threats like China .... that's why the ROLE OF OFFICERS become very very important....it is really unfortunate that BABUS ( IAS) WHO ARE SITTING THERE AS POLICY MAKERS , OFFICERS, ANALYST OF SUCH CRUCIAL DOMAIN....HAS EXPERTISE IN HISTORY/GEOGRAPHY/SOCIOLOGY/POLITY/LANGUAGE/any Single stream of ENGINEERING( like Civil/Mechanical etc.)/ DOCTOR etc......THEY ARE JACK OF ALL BUT KING OF NONE....THEY ARE BUREAUCRATS & NOT TECHNOCRATS....This BABUCULURE is MAKING US SLOW, BACKWARD....We , THE PUBLIC, praise this culture so proudly over social media & other platforms ....WE ARE ALL SHAMELESS PEOPLE....THIS IS THE BIGGEST REASON....IF WE HAD TECHNOCRATS WHO COULD EXPLAIN THE REAL SITUATION TO MINISTERS THEN THESE PROJECTS WOULD'VE BEEN COMPLETED LONG AGO.

Entire government machinery operates in a very slow pace. Unfortunately, the world events were quickly changing and we may loose out the race, if we persists with an inefficient system

Can someone make thread for "year of reform upadates" for tracking activities. to check if it ends up another buzzword campaign or we might see some light pointing to road away from bureactratics delays/sabotage?
I still believe Top G has good intent but people around him are failing him. Even Amit shah still silent on NRC.
