The name Tikka, Masala aren't British to start with. So it's a below cringe attempt.
Chicken Tikka Masala was introduced by a Bangladeshi immigrant & it's a derivative from foods commonly eaten throughout the indian subcontinent.
Their only authentic food is fish n chips. A bunch of mediocre fries & oiling them up with butter.

India's main problem in industrial and economic terms isnt that we dont have enough doctors, engineers and scientists of good quality, its we dont have TRADES of good quality and nowhere in near enough numbers - the electricians, plumbers, concrete pourers, companies and individuals in India are TINY compared to what it should be and mostly chappal wearing informal garage dehati stuff.

This is the main reason Indian economy is growing so slow and India lacks the capacity to hire these engineers and compsci people and what the foc is India going to do with a sudden drop in H1b and extra 200,000 engineers and data analysts to gib jobs to that it cannot ?
They are better served by going overseas, earning money there and a fraction of them returning home with their punji = big time tax revenue for the govt later on and makes MORE sense - govt is happier, dude is happier than being a wasted uber driver in B'lore.

This whole 'H1b is gonna ruin our nation' is nonsense at this stage, it ONLY enters the scenario when India is a middle income/upper middle income economy like Mexico or China is currently.
But dont forget, China even GOT to here due to the H1b, where legions of Chinese students +workers went to the US and only a small fraction returned home so far but China played it smart and made sure that at least some went as industrial spies and returned with industrial secret recipes.

India may not be smart to directly piggybank that way, but it certainly isnt hurting India currently to have part of its unemployable labour force go overseas to work and in return send home money.

Dont forget that H1b is the system that sends back about 20 BILLION USD a year in remittances to India annually. Like, isnt that half of our defence budget ?

We need to get to mid tier level, where our 'regular engineers' can find employment at home doing regular jobs before we think on ways to retain our high end talent like China is doing NOW.
