Anita Anand becomes external affairs minister in Carney's cabinet. And just a few months ago, she withdrew from politics to return to her professional career

Is she pro-India and anti-khali?

I don’t think Modi should himself go to Canada for G7 summit. A lot of police and law enforcement officers there are Khalistan sympathisers.

Given he is a bold leader. I don’t think the west would like to see him longer. They might play some ploy on the shoulders of khalistanis. Modi should now be careful and consider making his personal security stronger.

We can’t lose such leaders. Jai Hind!

They won't do anything to modi

You know I feel bad for the sikhs

If it wasn't for the British pieces of shit, they would have probably been able to convert the muslim populations on the indus in the sikh empire and become a major religion.

I think the khalistani thing is borne of fear that their religion may not survive much longer.

Khalistanis are a very fringe minority amongst Sikhs but they are very vocal and are mainly settled outside in USA & Canada, etc. They had settled there during 1980s and 1990s via political asylum. They have become well connected politically there since then. Some may carry genuine scars from the bad times in Punjab but so much has happened since. I think they know it too as most of them get to visit Punjab but it has kind of become etched in their identity and lifestyle. Maybe as that generation fades away, even these fringe elements will fade away too.

In my experience, Sikhs and punjabis in general are nationalistic and have an affinity for the defence forces.

Sure I agree.

I'm just saying sikhs got a raw deal. british broke their nacsent empire and probably their only chance to grow the religion seriously.

They will! for sure.
First he will be snubbed at airport then his convey will constantly pass through khalistani crowd and finally a khalistani journalist will arrive in summit itself.

Well, Modi should go and give a middle finger to these Khalis.
regarding security, the concern is valid but as leader of India, it comes with the territory.
