Y'all nibbiars, was googling about this but found no answer, what is the "hard kill projectile" used in these systems? is it a little missile that is launched? explosive charge like those ERA bricks? something like shotgun pellets are shot at the incoming missile?

How is APS going to work when modern battlefield dictates cope cages all around the tanks. Army as usual is behibd. Time to think new out of box solution while integrate APS in limited fashion.
