Indian Army Armored Vehicles

25 - 30 tons is the weight AFAIK.

I guess they will have to reduce it then so that it "doesn't sink in the sands of the Thar".

I was asking because many other countries use a modded tracked IFV chassis for this light tank or sometimes just stick a tank cannon onto a wheeled IFV, was wondering if the other way around were possible instead of DRDO or someone else having to reinvent the wheel for FICV

there is a recent video where the officer who is part of the team that drafted the SQR mentions that the weight is 25 and width of the tracks are because the design takes into account desert terrain.

any idea what is the fate of this Prototype and why they just shelved this project i just watermarked it on our website because IDRW idiots lifting it with no credit - cannon is a 40mm modified Bofors 40 mm L/60 gun, back in the day it was designed in a similar to CV90

Zorawar's chassis is based on it.

OFB really like the glossy paint. Shine bright like a diamond in the desert.

Is Zorawar chassis design good for, and possibly can be converted into an IFV with the relevant changes?

My base assumption is that this is way heavier than even your German tracked IFVs so weight has to be reduced
Almost all of the ifv with few changes can be used as light tank and I don't think weight of zorawar needs to be reduced it is already 25 ton

So at one point the flare went up and the atgm followed 1 sec after ... I'm not sure whether to congratulate the atgm crew or curse the lack of night vision. Meh why not both.

I saw thermal video... Maybe flares are just for filming
