Ya'll In June 2024, Tata Institute of Social Science sent termination letters to over 100 staff members due to a shortage of funds from the TET. Tata Education trust has been steadily reducing the TISS funds for some time. While Tata trust was forced to fund 6 crores for salary defecation. But the TET said it will no longer fund any TISS programme after that. Basically Tata abandoned the TISS once and for all.

Government is the only major funder now.

Ya'll The TISS was always a Hub of socialist thought but tolerable, founded by JRD Tata, but all things changed in past 15 years and become a woke, SJW institute. With Tata fulling funding it's as good as gone.

Ya'll was meant to be Hub for social and political science to improve society and culture but not the way they imagined, till the previous leadership it was only socialist, then it was captured by the communist and then the Wokes, and after that the rest is the history.

The Social engineering is something of good and terrible if you understand the scale it can be implemented with.
 
Ya'll the TISS chancellor tried to introduce culture and religion into the institutes but the faculty and student council revolted against it.

Ya'll they were trying to salvage the funding which were running low since fast four year, TISS become so woke that it become a liability, producing Urban Naxals, Wokiest, Gender benders and what not. That's why Tata tried to suppress it with fund reduction slowly, but after the revolted, stopped it, it was only due to Ratan Tata they got the 6 crore rupees to pay the salary or else every one would had been without a salary then. When water suppress head, it's nothing but a liability.

too broad, we can narrow it down.

at local levels, there are enough land mafia, business people, local politicians etc. who operate on principles of risk taking and expansionism.

it's the english educated, colonial legacy institutions that came up and continue with these sorts of reactionary tropes. that even a aggressive by nature leadership gets tempered by the system, to become risk averse, sometimes for good reason, sometimes unnecessarily.

english educated Indians, because they end up internalising literature that are meant to prevent upward mobility of nations. for example: an english person will be reading history about britain either to understand how their wars were won, or to study what went wrong when wars were lost. an english educated Indian for most part would be reading history written by foreigners on wars Indians lost to foreigners meant to kill self-confidence among colonised population. these are the people who end up in higher bureaucracy of services.

looking at the resistance that was there when the topic of history curriculum came up these past years, one can see how strong the colonial influence still is even after 70 years.

In South Asia, this kind of zombiism transcends religious and cultural boundaries. The M's are the extreme version of it and unfortunately these kinds of people make up the majority of our country ie. Unskilled, unemployable, uneducated, abusive, hyper-violent waste of life.

At my job,several times I was given life threats by these leeches just because I reported them for arriving late or in an intoxicated state or leaving their duty without informing me.
