This hindu mandir situated between thailand nd combodia border. its build by khmer (combodian) in 12 th century. this hindu shiva temple (preah vihar) declared "unesco heritage site" in 2008....so both dont want to let other get tourism money from it. they started fighting for hindu mandir from same 2008 year. before that they didnt take this matter seriously, due to their adoption of buddhism. both country history is intermingled. so both claim each other sites. thai also claim in combodia "biggest hindu mandir" Angkor Wat also.

i read thai nd combodian comment in different videos of this topic...nd both said this temple nd ankor wat temple build with some indian nd javanese architecture help. even some thai also make fun of combodian nd said if they build ankor wat, why they need indian archeological for restoration of this temple now.

we helped before combodia in ankor wat restoring.
