GDP measures value. Which is higher in South America due to their currencies being strong due to natural resources production and exports (Brazil is an OPEC country).

Also, no South America doesn't include Mexico.

South America's automobile production (4 wheelers) is less than half of India.
South America's steel production is a quarter of India.
South America's electricity consumption is around 3/5th of India.

no reason not to believe him , cut money is there everywhere . when ever there is large sums involved babus will demand their cut . personally experienced it .

mudiji knows this which is why they pushed faceless processing for income tax and now soon gst too , . babu who does the processing wont know details of person or company so he cant call them up and demand a bribe , interesting thing here is the system can give same file to 3 different officers , if one guy is blocking the file because he is retarded 2 others can still sign off on it .

honestly only hope is to digitise everything and hand it to a llm

That would be expensive. It is instead far better to create a system of canals where flood water drains into and if these canals are connected to driest parts of India like Odisha, Telangana, Maharashtra, that would be better use of harnessing the excess water from these states.

Yes, you can build huge water storage in Bihar, Assam to store the water and use them as reserves. Piped connections is implemented within state. Inter state pipeline is the new venture.

Could be true. 76 IQ dehati babus require "incentives" to even lift a cup of chai from their tables. Local municipalities esp are the worst.

Personally, I had to pay bribes to get my birth certificated digitzed, as I had a handwritten one. That was 10 years ago though, don't know if anything changed. More recently parents had to pay bribes to get some lands transferred in their name.

Concerns raised by the pollution control board? Give a 14 day deadline for investigation.

Applied for some permits? Give a 20 day deadline - if no valid documented concerns raised, permit gets granted by default.

Would put the fear of God among the babus.

The Ambanis, the Adanis, the Tatas and the Jindals won't have an issue with that (because they are politically well connected) - it is the smaller bizmen whose businesses get fucked.
