Telugus also believe that once a person visits Kashi, they must give up something they like permanently. Don't know if this belief exists throughout the country.

My grandmother went to Kashi in 2004 or 2005 and since then she stopped eating Guavas which were her favorite fruit.
I have never heard of anything like that before. So maybe it is unique to Telugus.
 
What a tragic waste of precious mangoes—Why is transport so expensive? It’s a serious concern, and one can only imagine how much food is wasted across the country due to this issue.
instead of dumping fruits etc on roadside....why cant they serve it to animals around them? its not like they hv no vegetarian animal around them. even i see dogs etc like to eat mango. this is totally disrespecting food, which isnt our culture. 🥺

i mean pahad me kaun sports car leta hai, jabki yaha jagah jagah pe gaddhe mil jayenge roads pe. dehradun, haridwar etc plane jagah to fir bhi smjh me aata hai uttarakhand ke aise sports car lene ka.😂
