The lower end cars like Alto, WagonR, Celerio, Kwid does not make sense when the top end prices were 6-7 lacs on Road. People were getting a bigger Second hand city, i20, baleno for this price.

The price increase put these cars in such disadvantage.
But we cannot always be making cars with starting price between 3 to 4 lacs. If you adjust for inflation, then an INR 3 lac car from 2004-5 will be like 4.8-5 lac today! Which is what a decent spec Alto K10 is being sold for.
People are not finding 5 lac INR car any worth now. If they have put close to 5lacs on a car then they try to increase budget and go for Swift/Tiago directly.​

Just give some of my opinion all 6 lacs and lower cars have gotten a reputation for being taxi cars which maruti had not stop from becoming that.

Tata with there nano experience cleverly decided to not let there cars from being sold as taxi.therefore it almost impossible to find tata altroz or nexon as taxi.

I not allowed to fund the same.

Not exactly. 90% of taxis sales for MS are limited to

1. Tour H3 - WagonR
2. Tour S - Dzire - it used to be previous generation available as Taxi variant but after BS6 implementation, same gen available as taxi now
3. Tour M - Ertiga

Apart from these three only Alto K10 and EECO are available as Taxi variant now, but their share is much lesser.

Remaining Cars - S-Presso and Celerio are no longer available as Taxi variant.​
 
there was panel discussion yesterday by cfr on Indian economy, i suppose they didn't do a background check on ridham desai of morgan stanley before inviting him. he ended up painting an upbeat picture on indian economy contrary to washington consensus on India, including about economic upliftment of muslim minority.

now that video is nowhere to be found. let's see if they will put it back, else it is foul play.
