Indian Economy

Good one .
In the vid he claims that all the clothes for the poor come from bangladesh .. Whereas total garment imports from kangluland is 6million USD. So 800million poors buy 6 million USD worth of garments in a year.

No, it's the clothes that are aimed for the middle class, and that to only a portion that comes from Kangludesh.

Listening to astrologers: "Wow. India is going to be amazing! Modi is great!"

Coming to this thread: "Modi sucks. He has to go. Vietnam is now leaving India behind? wtf"

Which is the truth!
karma decide faith....if ishwar rewrite all scenarios already (like jyotishi claim by watching kundali nd grah-naksatra), than human hv no free will. they cant be punished or rewared for their action. coz than everything is ishwar doing.
by d way one lady jyotishi told me in my childhood, after watching my palm. that i will hv 3 marriage🥰....who hv funking sane mind to marry 3 times in today's period. 😂😝.

Too good to be true. Everyone in the industry knew the AI bubble. For all the hype around LLMs, no one seems to have figured out the business model behind it. Each request is way more expensive than search. And worse LLMs totally depend on human created data. ChatGPT has already run out of data to train their models. What ever small improvements they are making is not worth all the trouble of spending millions since there is such a thing as "diminishing returns". Internet itself has become fucking boring these days. Google has tweaked their search and Youtube algorithms. There are tech monopolies which have become impossible to break.

This AI is another fad which will slowly disappear. Sure, things like LLMs are here to stay. But it doesn't look like a mind blowing novel thing. Internet search like Google search engine was helpful in its early days. And it was in fact a novel thing. Unless whatever they call as AI is not solving real world problems for people, I will just grab my popcorn and see billions going down the drain. GPUs would be far more useful if they helped in drug discovery, designing mechanical or electrical components, improving simulations etc. Using them for just LLMs and some other AI shit which serves no purpose other than to create shit content to post on social media is not one of them.

It's all down.

As a funny side note. I was checking the glue we had and much to my suprise this was imported from Korea. I'm guessing in 2025 these products are manufactured in India 1000022526.webp

Pidlite's Fevicol was once a major Indian glue brand, what happened to them? There are other Indian glue manufacturers, hope they are not all importing and selling under their own names!

Do these RBIwallahs read the posts of user @crazywithmath ? :bplease:

Was doing rr on liquidity the other day. Either way, bhosdapillars in shambles!

Lol, no. The last time something like this happened (from late 2018 to pre covid) we had an actual bad debt/banking sector blowup (mostly UPA era legacy which the incumbent was slow to react to) and even that giant mess was cleaned up in less than 2 years. Patchy growth rn is because of tight monpol and stingy fiscal - zero structural reason whatsoever. Some action on quantity of capital front should make up for it - even if the fiscpol and the cost of capital sides are left untouched.

India's 'natural growth' has been 7%+ consistently in recent years.

On a serious note, the monetary tightening and liquidity crunch side being taken care of. Some degree of fiscal loosening loading?

RBI targetting growth instead of going after those useless CPI numbers. Could have started 6-7 months back (could have thwarted the temporary slowdown) but overall, this came as a pleasant surprise. Wasn't expecting proactive measures even before the MPC day.

Most probably these were manufactured by single ODM and Companies across the world slap an sticker. Similar to how Midea is in AC. They manufacture for some 80% of AC Companies.

Target is to get an ODM to do this manufacturing. PLI may some things for this.

Remind me if the trend continues for another year. And what does other companies apart from Nvidia has to do with it?

ASML: There will always be demand for Lithographic machines whether AI bubble will burst or not.
TSMC: They will always have orders from fabless companies to make their chips.
ARM: They will always be courted by fabless companies to sell licenses who want make chips based on ARM architecture.
Micron: There will always be demand for DRAM, flash memory, and SSD modules regardless of AI bubble pops or not.
Oracle: What this company has to do with anything here? Oracle is primarily a software company which sells database licenses and for other applications they make. They are barely correlated anything with AI.

Take these reports with a pinch of salt. I can understand pouring money into some infra/banking/energy PSUs but Pawan Hans? Gormint has been cutting down on PSUs since 2014 - will be a massive u-turn, if true.

I am sorry but given how they propped up their 'source' based articles speculating on the imminent arrival of Tesla/Starlink and the gormint cozying up to them (only to be proven totally wrong later) it is only natural to be skeptical of their 'leaks'...

EDIT: Some folks are saying this has to do something with their 'reduced' mandate! Hard to believe tbh. They even held their own against Nitishwa and CBN when they were seeking financial 'concessions' for their respective state gormints in exchange for being 'good allies'. And now, NaMo the eternal fiscal conservative, is suddenly under political pressure having secured back to back state election victories and a near majority at the RS?

GPU and DRAM with HBM are most important hardwares for AI i think, and Nvidia, ASML, TSMC, Micron are all for these.
