GPU and DRAM with HBM are most important hardwares for AI i think, and Nvidia, ASML, TSMC, Micron are all for these.

most of the usable stuff in my home are from china/korea/or one of em FE countries
Larry Ellison was standing right next to orangejuice while stargate was announced. plonking money into a project chins have nuked aint gonna go down well on the bourses.Remind me if the trend continues for another year. And what does other companies apart from Nvidia has to do with it?
Oracle: What this company has to do with anything here? Oracle is primarily a software company which sells database licenses and for other applications they make. They are barely correlated anything with AI.
Most probably these were manufactured by single ODM and Companies across the world slap an sticker. Similar to how Midea is in AC. They manufacture for some 80% of AC Companies.
Target is to get an ODM to do this manufacturing. PLI may some things for this.
Vishwalodu has completely lost it and has turned mao incarnate over time.
We have china releasing deepseek building in house chips breaching the 14 and 7nm chips sector. An extremely durable automobile and tech industry. We have america on the other hand pouring billions in AI creating world class chip infrastructure and the we have a duffer of an FM here.

nothing wrong in putting money in PSUs just look how many succesful PSUs china have , what we need is better managment in these firms so that they could compete with private firms and earn profit if gov is investing billions in these firms they must have some plans , now don't start saying baboons cant manage firms since most of our large firms are psus either way.
india's exports have surpassed sk and will soon surpass japan in coming yearsmost of the usable stuff in my home are from china/korea/or one of em FE countries

We have lost the information warfare. If no one wants these PSU's in an ideal scenario we should close them but closing any PSU's and the media/opposition would move for the kill, They would take over social media, news channel showing the job losses which occurred due to this moveNobody wants to buy these meme PSUs.
You saw what is happening to Tata while attempting to de-chai&samosa-fi Air India, and that is actually useful.
Dhandhos would fall over each other to buy the Big 3 Oil PSUs meanwhile but Govt won't sell them ever, who sells golden goose?
Agree with this but absolutely what is the point in retaining something like Pawan Hans
Atleast something like those fertilizer PSUs mentioned in article i can understand.
Govt should chad-up the PSUs in strategic sectors but leave all meme sectors like "helicopter operation"
I am actually for PSU for fabricating chips, building airplanes( in cooperation with Boeing/Airbus, not NAL lol ) like how Maruti Udyog was in the past, once this fab/factory gains market share it can be slowly privatized if necessary.

Take these reports with a pinch of salt. I can understand pouring money into some infra/banking/energy PSUs but Pawan Hans? Gormint has been cutting down on PSUs since 2014 - will be a massive u-turn, if true.
I am sorry but given how they propped up their 'source' based articles speculating on the imminent arrival of Tesla/Starlink and the gormint cozying up to them (only to be proven totally wrong later) it is only natural to be skeptical of their 'leaks'...
EDIT: Some folks are saying this has to do something with their 'reduced' mandate! Hard to believe tbh. They even held their own against Nitishwa and CBN when they were seeking financial 'concessions' for their respective state gormints in exchange for being 'good allies'. And now, NaMo the eternal fiscal conservative, is suddenly under political pressure having secured back to back state election victories and a near majority at the RS?
kuch bhi. a few on your list are very profitable. India needs more state capacity, not less. NBCC is for example is probably one of the biggest real estate companies in NCR. They should instead remove job security, or remove it for new employees and make them function closer to private companies

Pipelines are there. Jindals are building a CRGO steel plant.Gaps in production are still there in some grades of steel which are imported.
I mean some of these are fixed, ironically by PSUs like all our steel going in the navy ships comes from them, which they made because Roosi couldn't provide warship-grade steel to us for INS Vikrant iirc.
I know warship-grade steel is not a major production/export quantity but just giving an example.
