Indian Economy

People here always blame mod babus, import lobby generols (don't support them) , however no one questions the screwdriver giri of Indian pvt companies.

.engines are still from gora sahibs in automobiles

.factory machines and automation are dependent on Western/chinese companies

.Stryker maybe a good or bad option but if someone roots for tata whap, it would be a good point to first check how many imported components is 🪛 drivered to pass of as indigenous platform (starting with the Cummins engine)

Economy and technology can't be developed by depending on Indian pvt sector, government should force them to spend on r&d

These IT CEOs are making these statements because they are not transferring the profit they are earning to their employees. They want to create an illusion that IT industry is facing trouble and trying to avoid giving good raise to their employees.
These shitty CEOs were swimming in money due to covid and the liquidity that got injected in the market due to US, now comparatively margins have gotten thinner and clients are harder to come by they have lowered their raises while the management steals all the profit for themselves.

The Indian Big 4 or 5 are having good profit quarter on quarter so the theory of thinner margins is just a smoke screen created to justify poor 2-3% hikes they are giving since last 3-4 years.

And look the CTC of the CEOs of these Big 5:
  1. TCS (Tata Consultancy Services): K. Krithivasan's annual CTC is approximately ₹25.36 crore.
  2. Infosys: Salil Parekh's annual CTC is around ₹79.75 crore.
  3. HCLTech: C. Vijayakumar's annual CTC is about ₹28.4 crore.
  4. Wipro: Thierry Delaporte's annual CTC is approximately ₹82.41 crore.
  5. Cognizant: Ravi Kumar S's annual CTC is around ₹186 crore.

Union Information and Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has called on major Indian tech companies like TCS, Infosys, and Wipro to take on the challenge of developing a mobile operating system tailored for India.
There are open source andriod distros like Lineage os, it can be modified to suit "tailored for india" requirements.

There are multiple. It has been done multiple times in past. But every time some favor reaches the babus and projects to get all govt hardware running an India based OS goes off shelf.
